Left Right Left Right Black White Black White Obama Bush What's The Difference? President Obama Signs Bill Extending The Unconstitutional "Patriot" Act
In 2003, Senatorial Candidate Barack Obama characterized the Patriot Act of the Bush Administration "shoddy and dangerous" and pledged to dump it.
Yesterday President Obama signed an extension of the Patriot Act for an additional 3 months. The funny thing is he had asked the House to approve a bill extending the Patriot Act for another 3 years.
In a vote 277 - 148, Obama's request fell 7 votes short of the two-thirds necessary to pass. Why? Veteran dissenters were joined by Tea-Party newcomers opposed to extra-constitutional powers for the executive branch.
Think you know a muhfuggah ... Hustle Hard.

Who Benefits The Most When Arab States Collapse Into Chaos?

The real silly thing is that Americans (yeah, you) always seem to
believe in some sort of Euro or America-centric conspiracy about ruling
the World. You really DO believe the rest of the World is hanging on our

Moscow.Makheru Bradley said...
The only immediate winners are the disaster capitalists who are benefiting from the inflated prices of oil—gasoline going towards $4/$5 per gallon; the price of food skyrocketing, etc. Whether this leads to a global revolution which overthrows the Oligarchic Psychopathocracy is yet to be determined. They were totally unprepared for these events and they are scrambling to recover and control them.
Detroit would be Tripoli Libya with different news coverage.—DV
LOL. News coverage of what: unemployment; poverty; that Barack is Mu-barak in neoliberal clothing?
Poverty rate in Libya-33%; poverty rate in Detroit-37%; unemployment rate in Libya- 30%; unemployment rate in Detroit-50%. So why aren’t young unemployed people in Detroit in the streets? Could it be that they are listening to the opiating rhymes and rhetoric of tools of Oligarchic Psychopathocracy like Lil Wayne and Iceberg Slim while folks in North Afrika are listening to El General?

DV, I would think that you would be pro-Scott Walker since a by-product of his Koch Brothers inspired attack on public sector labor unions in Wisconsin is an assault on public education which you despise.
Basically you and Gov. Walker have the same agenda. Methinks you got your anti-NWO propaganda a tad confused here. Naomi Klein and Chris Hedges break it down for you.

Watched that link. That's not Chris Hedges. That cat is Chris Hayes.
I'm not clear on your point. It seems as if you are suggesting you expect me to support Scott Walker because Scott Walker, inspired by the Koch brothers, wants to bust labor unions and to dismantle the public education system. Is that right?
1) Unions
I think talk about preserving a "teachers union" in America at this point in the game is as silly as talking about preserving a "labor union" for the crew of the Titanic ... after it hit the iceberg.
There are bigger problems. Who is going to pay all of these teachers? Taxpayers? Paying taxes with what? Where are the jobs for the hundreds of thousands of taxpayers in Wisconsin needed to pay the salaries and health benefits of tens of thousands of overweight, over-vaccinated and soon to be diabetic school teachers in Wisconsin?
The destruction of unions has nothing to do with some peon technocrat who happens to occupy the governor's mansion. The destruction of unions and the American Middle Class has more to do with the intentional deindustrialization of this country by international interests and the shadow government.
The jobs are gone. Point Blank. Union or no union. Labor agreement or no labor agreement. The fact is kids can be taught much better with far less cost than this glorified welfare / make-work program we call a "public school system".
Teachers Are Finished. I told you last year: The Impending Irrelevance of School.
2) Public Schools
"The ultimate aim of conservatives scrapping the public education system which has "sustained" this country for years. Teachers are the stewards of preserving public education which is the core element of our civic life." Chris Hayes
Chris Hayes parrots a dated socialist meme which fuels much of the ideology your generation still confuses for contrarian. The public school system is seen as a necessary and positive tool of societal engineering. The meme promises to deliver an egalitarian vision of class and race homogenization. (thus the nonsense that 100 years of compulsory schooling is somehow the core element of our civic life).
The actual education of children is a farce. The Public School System is nothing but a bureaucracy designed to employ poorly educated Plantation occupants and to produce future generations of dumbed down easily controlled, reproductively challenged occupants to serve the interests of the corporate oligarchy.
It's not that I hate "public schools" Makheru. It's that I love education.
Why do you cling to an institution of compulsory schooling that fails to educate?

I actually like the the term they used in the movie WAITING FOR SUPERMAN. They called them "failure factories", and that's what they are. They produce failure, that's their product. What's great about the movie is that they profile kids from different regions, different economic classes and different ethnicities. But they all are motivated kids and supportive parents. But none of them have a shot at a decent education.
Think about the consequences of a properly functioning public school system.
Underachieving elites the GWHBush would have to compete with smart kids from working class backgrounds for jobs. Fortunes that have been maintained for generations would be transferred to other families.
And what about the kids who were educated but couldn't get a job? They might start to question the entire system, design a new one and organize for change.
Naw, better to keep kids fighting over the right to poison their neighbors.

- Did you watch this before you posted it? Aren't you a proponent of DROPPING OUT OF SCHOOL. The video says those who DROP OUT of SCHOOL are:
- 1. 8x more likely to go to prison
2. 50% less likely to vote (you don't care about that one)
3. More likely to need social welfare assistance
4. NOT eligible for 90% of new jobs (didn't I mention something similar a couple of days ago?)
5. Are being paid $0.40 to the dollar of a college graduate.
6. And continuing the cycle of poverty.
This is kind of the antithesis of what you preach here. Did you mean to post this?

Is it merely a coincidence that less than a week after Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi threatened Israel by calling on Palestinians to capitalize on the wave of popular uprisings in the Middle East by massing peacefully on the borders of the Zionist state, his own regime is teetering on the brink of extinction following massive anti-government riots in Benghazi and Tripoli?
On Sunday last week, Gaddafi urged the Arab world to revolt against Israel during a speech on state television.
“Fleets of boats should take Palestinians … and wait by the Palestinian shores until the problem is resolved,” Gaddafi said. “This is a time of popular revolutions.”“We need to create a problem for the world. This is not a declaration of war. This is a call for peace,” he said in a speech given to mark the birthday of the Prophet Mohamed, a holy day in the Islamic calendar,” reported Reuters.
Low and behold, just days after Gaddafi’s very bold threat to seize on the wave of revolutions as a means of toppling Israel, Gaddafi himself is forced to flee Tripoli as protesters burn down government buildings and take control of entire cities. This tells you an awful lot about who is really behind the wave of revolutions sweeping the region – the US military industrial-complex that kick-started them in the first place.

Genetically Modified Food Is For Plantation Negros

In a study released by the International Journal of Biological Sciences,
analyzing the effects of genetically modified foods on mammalian
health, researchers found that agricultural giant Monsanto’s GM corn is
linked to organ damage in rats.
According to the study, which was summarized by Rady Ananda at Food Freedom, “Three varieties of Monsanto’s GM corn – Mon 863, insecticide-producing Mon 810, and Roundup® herbicide-absorbing NK 603 – were approved for consumption by US, European and several other national food safety authorities.”
Monsanto gathered its own crude statistical data after conducting a 90-day study, even though chronic problems can rarely be found after 90 days, and concluded that the corn was safe for consumption. The stamp of approval may have been premature, however.
In the past 3 weeks, the Obama administration has unbelievably chosen to approve three biotech crops, Roundup Ready genetically modified (GMO) alfalfa, Roundup Ready genetically modified (GMO) sugar beets and a new industrial biotech corn for ethanol production. Obama's recent approval of them will allow them to be planted as early as this spring, despite widespread acknowledgment that these crops are certain to contaminate both conventional and organic farmers non-GMO crops.

Plantation Negro Memory Is As Short As Plantation Negro Loyalty • Gaddafi Has Been Fighting International Bankers & NeoColonialism For 40 Years
"In oil reserves and volume of production, the
North African nation of Libya ranks decidedly behind such major Middle
Eastern producers as Iran, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. But in ability to
send shock waves through the world petroleum industry, Libya stands
second to none. Libyans have already helped lead the ten other members
of OPEC, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, in doubling
per-barrel prices over the past three years. In the past two years,
Libya's President, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, has nationalized British
Petroleum's operations and negotiated a 50% share in Italian oil
holdings; earlier this year, he asked for the same 50% stake in an
American-dominated oil group. Last week Gaddafi shocked Western oilmen
with his biggest demand yet: "100% control" of three mostly American
operations that together pump more than two-thirds of Libya's oil" Time Magazine April 2, 1973

Laurent Gbagbo Is The Blackest Man On The Planet • President of Ivory Coast Seizes Citibank & Declares War On International Bankers • Does President Obama Have The Moral Courage To Do The Same?
Ivory Coast's leader, in an effort to pay civil servants during a deepening liquidity crisis, read a decree on state TV late Thursday saying the banks closed without giving the three months notice required by Ivorian law.
Ahoua Don Mello said the government would take over the offices for Britain's Standard Chartered, France's BNP-Paribas and Societe Generale along with U. S. bank Citibank.
Banks began shutting down earlier this week, including Nigeria's Access bank and Ecobank. France's Societe Generale, the country's largest financial institution, announced it was shuting all 47 branches of its subsidiary serving 230,000 clients.
The banks' closure "is part of the will of the international community to suffocate Ivory Coast," Minister of Communications Gnonzie Ouattara told the press Friday. "The government felt obliged to take this measure to alleviate the suffering of Ivorians."

Why Does Encouraging Healthy Eating Inspire So Much Hatred? The Anti-Michelle Meme Picks Up Steam

"The problem is, and dare I say this, it doesn't look like Michelle Obama follows her own nutritionary, dietary advice. And then we hear that she's out eating ribs at 1,500 calories a serving with 141 grams of fat per serving... I'm trying to say that our First Lady does not project the image of women that you might see on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue or of a woman Alex Rodriguez might date every six months or what have you."
Obesity costs America $270 billion dollars a year in lost productivity, increased medical costs, and it costs taxpayers around $50 billion a year. Yet high profile conservatives from Palin to the Micheles (Malkin and Bachmann respectively) spent last week attacking the other Michelle, the First Lady, over her efforts to get more mothers to breastfeed. Despite studies indicating that children breastfed longer have a lower tendency to be obese, and the fact that these ladies breastfed their own children, they pounced. Instead of seeing Obama's call to action for what it is -- a preventative measure that could save us all dough down the road -- they argued it was further proof of her efforts to advocate for the nanny state.
