Gaddafi tosses around too much blame (al qaeda/Isreal/the US) for anybody to feel him. He has no chance at winning the PR battle at this point.
I'm wondering how long its going to take for the US Gov't to take credit for "planting the seeds of democracy in the Middle east" with the toppling of Iraq and the subsequent "uprisings". Now WE know how to plant a narrative!
I think he may just survive this though. He should stick to his guns.
It’s probably too late for foreign intervention (particularly American) to galvanize nationalist sentiments which could save Qaddafi. However, it’s not too late for American intervention to generate an insurgency after Qaddafi is overthrown.

It remains to be seen if Obama and Clinton will pull a boneheaded Bush-type of move and intervene anyway. If so, they will have another Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia-type of situation on their hands.
Let's just hope it's a quick excise of the tumor without much more bloodshed or civil war. People who have been living under an oppressor for that long deserve better than that.
I hope America goes in so they can get dragged into another Mideast conflict and have the islamic world further against it. Maybe this will speed up the fall of modern Babylon! By the way I just found this blog a few weeks ago and though I disagree with some of the material here overall I really like this blog. Thanks DV!
Israel is too small to be blamed by every one. Israel this and Israel that. The jews were slaves in Egypt or has every one forgotten that ? Matter of Fact I want the Jews to come to Nigeria to open the eyes of those blind fools. Fools who continue to blame civilization for theor woes due to their primitivity.
