Doctor Warned Dr. Donda West About Risky Surgery

A plastic surgeon refused to perform plastic surgery on Dr. Donda West because he thought there was a risk of a heart attack. Dr. Andre Abolian told her she needed to get clearance from an internist but Dr. West went ahead with a tummy tuck and breast reduction without the co-sign from the internist according to TMZ.

The fire department was called to Donda West’s home after a 911 call:

A hospital spokesperson tells TMZ that an unresponsive West was brought to their ER around 8:00 PM Saturday night. They attempted to resuscitate her, but were unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead around 8:30 PM that night.

Maybe Obama's Balls Have Not Been Completely Tied Off ...

"When I am the nominee of this party, the Republican nominee will not be able to say I voted for the war in Iraq, or that I gave George Bush the benefit of the doubt on Iran, or that I support Bush-Cheney policies of not talking to leaders that we don't like."

Agenda of Homosexual Lobby Goes Far Beyond "Equal" Rights

"Gay is good for all of us, the artificial categories of ‘heterosexual’ and ‘homosexual’ have been laid on us by a sexist society, as gays, we demand an end to the gender programming which starts when we are born, the family, is the primary means by which this restricted sexuality is created and enforced. Our understanding of sexism is premised on the idea that in a free society everyone will be gay." Allen Young, a pioneer of the "Gay Liberation" Movement. (John D'Emilio, Intimate Matters: A History of Sexuality in America, p.322)

Throw Out Your Microwave Oven

Is it possible that millions of people are ignorantly sacrificing their health in exchange for the convenience of microwave ovens? Why did the Soviet Union ban the use of microwave ovens in 1976? Who invented microwave ovens, and why? The answers to these questions may shock you into throwing your microwave oven in the trash.

Over 90% of American homes have microwave ovens used for meal preparation. Because microwave ovens are so convenient and energy efficient, as compared to conventional ovens, very few homes or restaurants are without them. In general, people believe that whatever a microwave oven does to foods cooked in it doesn't have any negative effect on either the food or them.

Of course, if microwave ovens were really harmful, our government would never allow them on the market, would they? Would they? Regardless of what has been "officially" released concerning microwave ovens, we have personally stopped using ours based on the research facts outlined in this article.

NEVER USE MICROWAVES TO HEAT BABY BOTTLES

"Although microwaves heat food quickly, they are not recommended for heating a baby's bottle. The bottle may seem cool to the touch, but the liquid inside may become extremely hot and could burn the baby's mouth and throat.

Also, the buildup of steam in a closed container, such as a baby bottle, could cause it to explode. Heating the bottle in a microwave can cause slight changes in the milk. In infant formulas, there may be a loss of some vitamins.

In expressed breast milk, some protective properties may be destroyed. Warming a bottle by holding it under tap water, or by setting it in a bowl of warm water, then testing it on your wrist before feeding may take a few minutes longer, but it is much safer."

"A basic hypothesis of natural medicine states that the introduction into the human body of molecules and energies, to which it is not accustomed, is much more likely to cause harm than good.

Microwaved food contains both molecules and energies not present in food cooked in the way humans have been cooking food since the discovery of fire. Microwave energy from the sun and other stars is direct current based.

Artificially produced microwaves, including those in ovens, are produced from alternating current and force a billion or more polarity reversals per second in every food molecule they hit.

COME ON NOW! "Ethnic" Plastic Surgeries Skyrocket. Where Is Bill Cosby When You Need Him?

The number of ethnic patients who chose to enhance their appearance or minimize the signs of aging through cosmetic plastic surgery took a substantial jump since 2005, with nearly 2.3 million procedures performed, an increase of 65 percent from the previous year according to statistics released today by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

Hispanics continue to lead all ethnic groups with more than 921,000 cosmetic procedures performed, up 67 percent from 2004; followed by African Americans with 769,000 procedures, up 67 percent; and Asians with 437,000 procedures, up 58 percent.

HIP HOP. "The Rumors of My Death Have Been Greatly Exaggerated" JAY-Z SHOWS ELVIS WHO'S 'GANGSTER'

Rapper's 10th No. 1 matches Presley's second place status among most chart toppers.

Jay-Z will find himself in the company of music royalty next week if his new album, "American Gangster," debuts at No. 1 as expected based on early estimates.

The Roc-A-Fella set, if all goes as planned, will mark Jigga's 10th No. 1 album – tying him with Elvis Presley for second place among artists with the most chart-toppers. Only the Beatles have more, with 19.

Estimates cited by Nielsen SoundScan's new Building Chart panel of reporters showed "American Gangster's" one-day sales of 179,000 to be the third largest out-the-gate mover since SoundScan began compiling such tallies. Jay-Z trails only the first-day numbers for Kanye West's "Graduation" (437,000) and 50 Cent's "Curtis" (310,000).

LOL. As the Rap Haters and "Global System of White Supremacy" Theologians bend over backwards to dismiss, castigate, reduce, and slander rap stars, these former drug dealers turned entrepreneurs, appear to be some of the most effective media savvy black businessmen on the planet.

As Civil Rights Negros fumble the ball with the likes of the Jena 6 fiasco, Hip Hop moguls traffic in images of empowered capable black men operating across industries on a global scale. When are the Plantation Negros going to stop hating and actually learn something?

Gay Lobby Continues It's Assault On Christianity and The African-American Community

Obama Parrots Gay Propaganda Which Paints Blacks and Christians As Villians

"There’s a problem of homophobia in the African-American community. I will go into churches, I will go into meetings with ministers and say, “I disagree with you on these issues. This is not how I interpret my faith.” But the fact that we’re having a conversation, I think, allows the possibly that I will change their minds, make them more tolerant of these issues. They may not agree with me on this, but ultimately, it allows me to bridge some of the cultural divisions that have, I think, prevented us from making progress in this country for so long."

Is Your Doctor Killing You?

Doctors Are The Third Leading Cause of Death in the US, Causing 225,000 Deaths Every Year

This article in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) documents the tragedy of the traditional medical paradigm.

This information is a followup of the Institute of Medicine report which hit the papers in December of last year.

The author is Dr. Barbara Starfield of the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health and she desribes how the US health care system contributes to poor health.

ALL THESE ARE DEATHS PER YEAR:

12,000 -- unnecessary surgery
7,000 -- medication errors in hospitals
20,000 -- other errors in hospitals
80,000 -- infections in hospitals
106,000 -- non-error, negative effects of drugs

These total to 225,000 deaths per year from iatrogenic causes.

Iatrogenic - is defined as induced in a patient by a physician's activity, manner, or therapy. Used especially of a complication of treatment.

Dr. Starfield offers several warnings in interpreting these numbers:

First, most of the data are derived from studies in hospitalized patients. Second, these estimates are for deaths only and do not include negative effects that are associated with disability or discomfort. Thirdly, the estimates of death due to error are lower than those in the IOM report.

If the higher estimates are used, the deaths due to iatrogenic causes would range from 230,000 to 284,000. In any case, 225,000 deaths per year constitutes the third leading cause of death in the United States, after deaths from heart disease and cancer. Even if these figures are overestimated, there is a wide margin between these numbers of deaths and the next leading cause of death (cerebrovascular disease).

Intellectually Harmonizing Statement of The Week

Submariner said...
Craig, I know that Cobb and some others may consider these guys lacking on a seemingly objective scale. I doubt the second brother was an epigeneticist (btw, you must show me how to do those cool links)as discussed at http://www.dnafiles.org/programs or that he was going to illuminate the structure of purines and pyrimidines the way my organic chemistry teacher did in undergrad. And I can tell you from my experience of dissecting a human cadaver that there are no distinct anatomic strucures that correspond exactly to all the chakras.

But these guys do maintain a tradition of establishing an intellectual architecture for us by us. I like fat, complex books. In fact, one reason I'm drawn to you and E.C. Hopkins is that you invariably throw up a term or concept that I've never heard of and I have to refer to a dictionary or wikipedia.

However, that can be quite intimidating and off putting for many. Recently, you noted the role of guilds and tools of exclusion during a discussion between Dr. Spence and Hopkins on the utility and merit of Ph.D programs. Based on one of your earlier citations, I recently read Theory of the Leisure Class by Thorstein Veblen. I was surprised to learn that what I considered unbiased markers of an educated mind are very much related to pecuniary strength.

Aside from standing on a picket line with my mom and other workers fom Local 1199 during a strike, one of my great inspirations was walking down Jamaica Ave in Queens and listening to Five Percenters brothers from NOI as they extolled their views. What these guys said was that I could be just like them and use my mind to make conscious choices and that I didn't have to be driven by subcortical urges. They also told me that I could develop a psychic framework which left me feeling empowered and acknowledged the unique contributions of my forebears rather than feeling like a minor vestige.

Greatest Poet of 20th Century?

And one morning while in the woods I stumbled
suddenly upon the thing,
Stumbled upon it in a grassy clearing guarded by scaly
oaks and elms
And the sooty details of the scene rose, thrusting
themselves between the world and me....

There was a design of white bones slumbering forgottenly
upon a cushion of ashes.
There was a charred stump of a sapling pointing a blunt
finger accusingly at the sky.
There were torn tree limbs, tiny veins of burnt leaves, and
a scorched coil of greasy hemp;

A vacant shoe, an empty tie, a ripped shirt, a lonely hat,
and a pair of trousers stiff with black blood.
And upon the trampled grass were buttons, dead matches,
butt-ends of cigars and cigarettes, peanut shells, a
drained gin-flask, and a whore's lipstick;

Scattered traces of tar, restless arrays of feathers, and the
lingering smell of gasoline.
And through the morning air the sun poured yellow
surprise into the eye sockets of the stony skull.... Richard Wright

Made Hov say ‘OK, so, make another Hov’…

So we parted ways like Ben and J-Lo

I shoulda been did it, but I been in a daze though
I put friends over business end of the day though
But when friends…business interest is day-glo
Ain’t nuffin left to say though, I guess we forgot what we came for

Shoulda stayed in food and beverage, too much flossin’
Too much Sam Rothstein, I ain’t a bitch but I gotta divorce them

Hov had to get the shallow shit up off him
And I ain’t even want to be famous
Niggas is brainless to unnecessarily go through these changes
And I don’t even know how I came to this

It’s stronger than heroin, when you can look in the mirror like ‘there I am”

I know I’m guilty of it too, but not like them ... Sean Carter

A Response To The "Global System of White Supremacy" Theorists

Exodus Mentality
4) Whenever, wherever, we can have that discussion. I appreciate your wilingness to stipulate to the existence of the GSWS for the purposes of comparing adn contrasting, but I'm afraid I cannot be so accomodating. You will have to begin with a very detailed description of this Global System of Black Supremacy that you mention, because this is the very first that I have ever heard of such a thing. You say you were raised to believe it, so I'm assuming you didn't just make this up yourself? Perhaps an explanatory post on your blog would be a good place to get this party started.

Fighting a strong desire to light this movie up. Denzel is clearly the best actor in the world. White supremacy and inability to identify with a black character caused them to ruin what would have been a truly amazing movie by creating yet another white superman...
LOL. My man. I feel you Gibson. I knew I could count on you to tell the truth. (Many of us decided to "like" this movie before we even saw it).

You are right. Crowe's character was gratuitous. The whole movie should have been about Frank Lucas. Who was "the cop" in Godfather? Who was "the cop" in Goodfellas?

But fear of focusing on a black character and the need to create a white superman ... is not the product of "White Supremacy". It is the product of "White Inferiority".

That's something I am having a hard time getting Fisher and his crew to understand and accept.

(Ultimately they are as scared of Black Supremacy as are racist whites. Which is a twisted story in and of itself.)

Damn. I agree with you Wesley. Denzel acted circles around Crowe. Circles! The cop was most certainly unnecessary. Denzel played the character so well, I didnt even hate him when it was over. I didnt think he should have been subject to any consequence. But I still liked the movie, DV. It sounds like you didnt.
