Ooo-eeee--oooo. Suppose it's all the ongoing effect of ol' Robert Johnson making that deal with Eshu at the Crossroads way back when? Or is the power of the 27 Club Myth and the glamour the culture promotes about the tormented and too-soon-dead rock god lead directly to self-fulfilling/self-cursing behavior among certain young rock musicians? In the old myths, the "dying god" generally is sacrificed at the time when they are beginning to age. Since these gods have generally been fertility deities, an impending loss of virility/reproductive potency has commonly been linked to the moment of their death/sacrifice...but why 27 and not, say 29 or 26? Just one of them things?

2+7=9

9 is the number of completion. Numerology tells us these people have fulfilled their purpose in life no matter how relatively young they were when they passed.

Interesting O.

I heard something recently along the same lines. That all the zodiac/astrological numbers add up to 9, e.g. 72, 432.

Is this a way to communicate the concept of completionand hide it in plain sight?
