This video should be provided in a "Social Justice" course.

The fact that this Negro didn't get his azz beat by the cops is PROOF that Black folks have due process rights like never before. This is the care REGARDLESS of the official status of everyone in this nation.

The bottom line answer to all of his questions is that the POWER OF THE STATE TO USE VIOLENCE TO AFFIRM THEIR POSITION is how they stand in the land mass called "America" without a green card.

"The fact that this Negro didn't get his azz beat by the cops is PROOF that Black folks have due process rights like never before." CF

Proof?

Black folks have due process rights like never before?

C ... take your mouth off the crack pipe and think about the insanity of what you just said.

This brother did not get his ass beat because HE KNOWS HOW TO USE THE LAW.

Negro graduates of Plantation Schools get their law from "24" and "CSI".

This bro did not get his ass beat because those cops evidently were not in an ass beating frame of mind right then. Probably had more to do with the camera phone, and the fact that they really didn't have anything on the child, than that stuff the original man was spouting. The cops didn't understand an single word of that screed, just like 95% of the rest of the people who see this vid. So it had absolutely no impact on their actions. C'mon DV, what have we discussed about your laid back attitude towards causal relationships?

Denmark Vesey said...

lol.

We really must do something about the quality of the public schools in this country.

Brothers can think.

But they can't reason.

Let me see if I can help you out ... "Dwight".

Your lame attempt to make a point appears to be predicated upon the assumption that people's actions are only impacted by that which they "understand".

Correct?

"The cops didn't understand an single word of that screed, just like 95% of the rest of the people who see this vid. So it had absolutely no impact on their actions. " Dwight

Think about that.

...

...

Think again.

...

...

Dwight ... do people "understand" the science behind vaccines?

Does their lack of understanding impact their decision to receive them?

Do people "understand" jet propulsion and aerodynamics?

Does their lack of "understanding" impact their actions to the extent that they won't fly on airplanes?

... ?

... ?

un huh.

Starting to get it yet ... "Dwight"?

Ignorance of the Law Is No Excuse.

Plantation Negros expect to get their asses beat.

Because they don't know the law.

Free Black Men Wish A Motherfucker Would.

Most people think they understand the science behind vaccines, at least at the rudimentary level to believe that the shot is intended to protect against some illness. Same basic understanding of jet engines. They know they work to lift the airplane off the ground.

So in your analogy, a person who doesn't understand vaccines would be just as inclined to take a shot of what they knew to be water, if they could be convinced that it worked the same as their basic understanding of vaccines. But most people could not be convinced of that, because their basic understanding of vaccines tells them it couldn't be true. Same way you can't convince someone who doesn't understand the science of aerodynamics to hop on a plane with no engines.

See how your analogy breaks down. Apples and oranges, and you didn't even have good apples to begin with.

Now contrast that to even understanding the words that were coming out of his mouth. Most of the comments on here have never even heard these words used as this brother was using them. Those cops haven't ever heard anything like it. So to them it's like gibberish, crazy person talk, or a foreign language. They are unable to react to it because it isn't registering with them at all.

I'm not debating the merits of what this man said. I am saying that his words were not the predicate cause of that encounter ending as well as it did.

I've seen a lot of people who "wish a motherfucker would", end up wishing that motherfucker hadn't. Being right ain't never saved nobody from the bad shit that happens in this world.

And I hope you don't think I was trying to mask my usual identity. I just don't care enough to check which one is going out before I click send.

Dwight / Exodus Mentality ...

Do people who eat GMO "understand" how genetically modified food is produced and how it impacts the expression of our genes?

No.

Yet them pork and starch eating fools are eating themselves to death everyday.

People who take vaccines ... have NO concept of how vaccines work.

They take them on faith.

Yeah yeah ... the average cat on the street can regurgitate something about "anti-bodies" ... but beyond that ... crickets.

Ask them about adjuvants and mercury and they will look like dear caught in headlights.

Yet, 80% of them roll up their sleeves and present a vein to any fool with a stethoscope around their necks, the moment they are told to do so.

People who fly on airplanes never consider any principles of aerodynamics and thrust.

They have faith.

People who stand in court and listen to the gibberish regurgitated by bureaucratic cogs and people who sign contracts with pages of fine print... have NOTHING close to an understanding of Natural Law.

Yet ... they ACT upon things they don't understand ... CONSTANTLY.

Exodus, you seem to occupy a fantasy land where the Plantation produces masses of educated, informed and reasonable people who do only that which they understand.

I'm not saying you are smoking crack ... I am saying you might as well be smoking crack.

You had might as well be high if you are going to remain that deluded.

The Plantation produces Plantation Negros and Plantation Crackas.

The brother in the video was empowered not with words ... but with the LAW.

The real LAW ... not that masonic nonsense you were taught in Law School.

He froze those cops in their place.

They don't need to UNDERSTAND shit. They felt him. They didn't put their hands on him. They released his son.

We would be a much stronger people if we bothered to actually learn the law instead of just learning to "obey" shit we have been told is the "law".

And yeah.

I WISH A MOTHERFUCKER WOULD.

And aint NOBODY ever put their hands on me.

I'm still not sure I get your analogy. Your initial premise that these officers were cowed by the man's legal expertise, LOGICALLY REQUIRES that they have an understanding (or at least a belief that they understand) the legal points that are presented to them. I'm pretty sure you aren't trying to say that the cops were going on faith in the black man,

But I see now. It was the simply presence and power of a knowledgeable free Black man that won the day. You evidently conceded the point, "They don't need to UNDERSTAND shit". I don't disagree with you about the power and presence of someone who is confident and aware of their rights and the law. We'll forego the debate about what the "law" is or is not.

Denmark Vesey said...

"Your initial premise that these officers were cowed by the man's legal expertise," EM

No.

That's not my point.

They were not cowed by his "legal expertise".

They were cowed by the presence of the LAW.

The brother evoked the LAW.

The LAW has power.

The power of the LAW is not predicated upon the understanding of the people who encounter it.

Just as the the power of symbols are not limited to the capacity of the people who encounter symbols to understand them.

Dwight, take a dollar bill out of your pocket.

Examine it.

Do you "understand" all of the symbols on that dollar bill?

Do you think that because you don't "understand" those symbols ... they have no power over your actions concerning money?

Of course they do.

Your premise that people only act upon that which they understand is observably false.

The LAW has symbolical power that transcends the limited capacity of police officers to understand.

Lawyers don't even understand the LAW.

The LAW schools don't teach people law.

They teach people to be employees.

I think that the sinking feeling that what they did not understand could get them in deep isht and bring down lots of terrible publicity to them personally and their local police department generally, with all the possible consequences that might entail for them, is what made them decide to let the boy go and not beat down the dad. I could be wrong, but the fact that they were trying to cover up their name tags is indicative of that.

However, the guy presenting the LAW alone isn't enough to bring about this outcome. It was the LAW+camera, i.e. the real threat of mass public exposure should they try anything against someone armed with the LAW that made the difference. The Watchers/Surveillers hate when they themselves can be easily watched, surveilled and exposed--it destroys the power differential that they rely upon to legitimize their so-called authority. That's why they hate WikiLeaks and citizens with cameras, why they hate bloggers and tweeters that can simply connect information and ideas directly to other people without having to go through the channels they use to control/ "manage" human connection and communication. This is why their whole fuss about "Net Neutrality" and why governments in superficially democratic countries such as ours are slowly moving toward trying to emulate the China model of web censorship/filtration. This is also why the PTB hated and still hate the idea behind the 2nd Amendment. A "commoner" with a camera phone and an internet connection is the equivalent to a commoner in the 18th century having a gun to respond to a British soldiers request to quarter themselves in his home.

In Police State America a Moorish perspective of the law means absolutely nothing. This guy was just lucky these officers didn't choose to arrest him. He could have wound like this young brother in San Francisco.

Besides, Moorish knowledge of the law hasn't prevented several Moors from being arrested and sentenced.
