What makes this a crucifixion? If these charges are true, it's more of an act of self-destruction.
I must agree with makheru on this one. Preying on underage girls isn't about being heterosexual.
If the charges are true, this man deserves whatever he gets.
But if it's true that he had consensual sex with a prostitute who told him she was 19, that's a different story.

Well let's see, if he starts pissing fire, I suppose that's not transmission of a sexually transmissible disease either...because she "SAID" she was clean. Despite all the handwringing it IS an illegal profession and one should assume responsibility for whatever outcome happens. Saying he was unaware that she was underage doesn't matter. The fact remains that she was 16, and he paid money (unknowingly?) to have sex with a underage girl. Money and the wrath of her pimp was coercion. This isn't the same as meeting what you think is a 21 year old woman in a club open ONLY to 21 year olds and older, only to find out later she's underage. In that situation assuming age of consent is reasonable.

Another thing... 16 v. 19 is not obvious to us because we're old and so it's all the same thing. But if you ask a high school student whether someone is a sophomore or a graduate, they are more likely to guess the difference because it's less nuanced to them. To us it's "whatever, they're all kids". To them there is a significant difference between a few years. Hence high schoolers fucking high schoolers=acceptable while 50 year olds fucking high schoolers= not so much.

LT has operated in a disproportionate industry for his entire adult life. The price of entertainment is disproportionate to its true human value. But that's how any "opiate" works. It depends on people not being able to distinguish the difference between price and value. People like LT, Tiger Woods, etc., have reaped enormous benefits from the opiate of the masses.
