Christianity Before Christ (The Best of DV.Net)

"Many of the madonnas painted in the earliest centuries of Christ- iandom were black, according to historians, and it wasn't until the Renaissance that it became popular to give the mother of Christ the features of a Florentine maiden [a white woman]" Washington Post (Religion) May 4, 1979.

Did Christianity Evolve From The Egyptian (African / Kemet) Spiritual Tradition?

See now I can work with this. Thank God.

And yet, oddly enough, Black Americans are some of the most fervent "Jew/White-pantheon" Christians...

There is no such thing as "Christianity?" "Christianity" is simply true essence spoken out loud by a powerful individual. The truth and the essence existed long before the Nazarene prophet and will exist until the end of time.

"Nazarene prophet"

What? Jesus Christ is not God?

Good question m-fish.
While i call myself a Christian, I'm not entirely sure what that means.
Wasn't Christ a member of one Jewish sect or another?
I'm not sure what (in our Bible) is actually valid or true. There have been so many interpretations and editings that the real words become somewhat impossible to determine. The search for the "Q" has often taken the place of the intended message.
Looking at Christianity from a purely historic view would make it seem more similar to "the state of..."'s view.

What? Our Bible may not be the word of God?

Good post. I agree with the State Of's sentiment here. The picture of the statues of the Mother and divine son are beautiful. I had never seen the Egyptian version although realize that much of Christianity was influenced by Ancient Egyptians!

m-fish - I didn't say that our Bible may not be the "word of God". In fact, I may even be incined to say that it is.
But trying to attribute all philosophy or tradition to just one tribe (while discounting the exterior influences throughout time) would seem myopic.
I've seen the Egyptian influence referenced as well as other Old Testament stories that have similarities to other cultures.

Which version?

Of course christianity evolved from the Egyptian (African/Kemet/KMT) Spiritual Tradition.

Please watch zeitgeistmovie.com.

Check out Jordan Maxwell & Ashra Kwesi on Youtube.

In fact, the photo of the "African Goddess Isis" you have posted was renamed Isis by the Greeks. Her KMTian name is Auset.

There are many, many more christian symbols "borrowed" from KMT, such as the cross which represents the 4 directions & the Pope's hat, which can be seen in KMTian statues.

Not only did Christianity borrow KMTian symbols, but the US government has borrowed as well. There are the obvious symbols, like the ones seen on the dollar bill and there are others like the apron that George Washington wears. It can be seen in KMTian statues.

The Washington Monument is straight out of KMT. It is a representation of an erect penis.

The woman holding the scales of justice is based on our Queen Ma'at.

The Great Pyramids are perfectly aligned with the Sirius Star system & Washington D.C. is as well. It was planned by Benjamin Banneker (Banaky). "The plans he drew were the basis for the layout of streets, buildings and monuments that exist to this day in Washington D.C."

Banneker was an African from the Dogon tribe in Mali. The Dogons are known for their astrological knowledge without telescopes.

I hear there's a statue of Banneker in the White House.

Is there any proof of Jesus' existence outside of the Bible by those who existed around that time (i.e. not by Pliny or Tacitus)?

Denmark Vesey said...

Is there any proof of your existence?

What proof will there be of your existence 2,000 years from now?

If 2,000 years from now 2 billion people praise you day and night... that would be greater proof of your existence than digital photographs, fingerprints and DNA samples.

A dead Jesus is more alive than most Plantation Negros walking around today.

Men will continue to contribute atrocities as long as they believe absurdities. Believing in something as fact because your parents did and your pastor tells you to doesn't make it correct. The Ancient Egyptians learned to speak in myths to teach important life lessons. We took a million steps backwards in taking myths as literal facts. To think we have senators that believe in talking snakes is frightening.
I don't care if there will be proof my existence 2,000 years from now. I would care though if people worshiped me as some Messiah and stopped thinking for themselves. Yes sir, it is belief in this "Messiah" that is partly to blame for these "Plantation Negroes".

True.

Believing there is no God is a perfect example of the type of absurdity that motivates men to commit atrocities.

"Belief" is overrated.

One doesn't "believe" in God any more than one "believes" in oxygen.

One just breathes.

Breathe Anonymous.

Seriously.

Right Now. Take a deep breath.

Exhale

Take another one.

Breathe.

Let it out.

That's God.
