The sheer metric tonage of cognitive dissonance alone from the fact that the same Al Qaeda for whom we've sliced the constitution in half are now being backed by our own government in overthrowing the gov't of Libya should be enough to make people wake up and realize the sheer depth and extent to which their own government is manipulating and outright lying to them.
It's like something out of Animal Farm. First you get the sheep bleeting, "Four legs good, two legs bad." Then when it's politically expedient, "Four legs good, two legs better."

I've never heard this piece. From "Shogun to Raygun." I doubt this title stimulated Chuck D to write, "Impeach the president shoot him with my raygun, zap the next one I could be your shogun"- but it still draws an interesting parallel.
