Yes or no question.

Are your kids in school?

But I'm only 9 years old. I'm not allowed to get a chick yet.

So...are your kids in school? If so, why are you allowing them to languish in that prison? Do you hate your kids or something?

CNu. DV doesn't know what "checkmate"means. DV plays marbles, not chess.

They are educated privately.

School is for peasants.

You said they are "educated privately", which doesn't answer my question properly. Educated privately may mean they are homeschooled, or sent to private schools. Both are fine and of course totally your choice as parents.

The problem is that you do not make the distinction between public and private education in this thread.

And of course there's always this puzzling piece.

@Kasparov- I don't often ask questions to which I don't already know the answer.

Brother DV:

With the NAACP of the Carolinas fighting to the death to prevent Black kids from being forced to go neighborhood schools that are all Black rather than have the "benefit" of getting on a bus for the honor of sitting next to a White kid - do you REALLY believe that the balance of our people are ready to consider your message about "the need to rethink school"?

IF the education of our children is meant for the edification of our community then we have long ago lost our way.
