Come on Peeps.

Right before your eyes. The Mound builders in Louisiana Washita is older and more developed than places in Africa.

(Duh!)

The Olmecs and Washitaw, Black Californians (Khali/Kali/California), Jamassee, Califunami and other pre-columbian Blacks of the Americas were part of a prehistoric trade network that began in Antiquity when the landmass was One more than 100's of millions of years ago.

i feel ya 'HW'....but the tone seems to be divisive vs cooperative...people of color IMO should seek a united front when it comes to our history...we've shared in this history, benefitted from this history and will continue to make history

we've made great contributions to humanity and we should recognize the collected efforts of all people of color

peace

More developed???? The abyssal asininity of these imbecilic incantations from this grandiloquent Georgian are purely for the consumption of gullible minds.

Since we have the Papyrus of Ahmes, which proves antiquarian Afrikan knowledge of trigonometry, obviously used by Snefru’s engineers to calculate the slope of a pyramid, while building the world’s first such Stone Structure, where oh where is the comparable documentation of Washitaw knowledge. Then again, not to belittle the culture of the Adenans and Mississippians, but more so to puncture the plausibility of the grandiloquent Georgian, red ants build mounds.

While you’re searching for that documentation Wax, please find Washita, as you call it, on this map.

I'm inclined to ask what does this tell us about the culture of these people....civilizations are documented by their artistic and creative contributions to the continued survival of their race...we continue to fight the contributions of Afrika because of the incredible "indoctrination" and deracination of the Afrikan culture in the minds of "mankind". Where is the music..the dance.. the expressive art forms.. of these aforementioned groups...races all over the world are gravitating to the ancient cultures of Africa no matter their hue... the "great structures" have been bastardized (KFC sold right in front of the pyramids) ( Muslims running down the streets of Baghad with priceless art)...Traditions that have outlasted these attempts to make us turn our backs or outright deny mankinds birth place is how I will measure my heritage....Study the arts and the creative efforts of a people and you will find eventually they will return to the original source or birthplace of their race...The Olmecs..Washitaw, Black Califunami...etc.etc.these are all people of the "drums of AFRIKA"...but some will have to hear it first from the "white african"..Peace

DR. Love you said..."Study the arts and the creative efforts of a people and you will find eventually they will return to the original source or birthplace of their race...The Olmecs..Washitaw, Black Califunami...etc.etc.these are all people of the "drums of AFRIKA"...but some will have to hear it first from the "white african"..Peace"

Surely we can trace music and culture here to the original indigenous Americans that nothing to do with Africa. This is not to slight African culture, since there is an intertwining of the cultures. Music you say? Reggae, Calypso, Blues and her child Jazz...
"Jazz is known all over the world as an American musical art form and that’s it. No America, no jazz. I’ve seen people try to connect it to other countries, for instance to Africa, but it doesn’t have a damn thing to do with Africa.”...Art Blakey
I have see people try and connect Blues, Reggae and Calypso to Africa as well but...IMO, they are NOT rooted in Africa.

There is Cuisine that has nothing to do with Africa, but everything to do with the Black people of the Americas...Gumbo (I know this word is attributed to Africa for Okra that is the only African ingredient in Gumbo)? Callaloo - Not African.

Healing arts? Most of the pharmacopia in the world derives from plant live in the Americas. Isn't it possible some of the medical healing in Kemet was based on healing plants of the Americas?

This is not to slight Africa, but to acknowlege the culture here.

you said "...but some will have to hear it first from the "white african"

I think the reverse is true, some will have to hear the truth about the Black skin Americans from the "white African"

Peace!

Is it too late to comment? I hope not. I had a dream in which I asked my ancestors the name of my mother's tribe. It was a startling dream in which the ancestors said, "Natchitoches. Washitaw." I didn't know what it meant for a long time, until I started reading about the Olmecs and the mounds. I had always accepted the idea that we're all "from'' Africa. Thank you for this post. I was wondering if you could recommend some books on the subject. Thank you again.
