There's not a discount in the world... not even a "free" handout... that could make me trade-in my dignity like this. We're not talking about destitute people here. I would place a good bet that most of these folks weren't needy enough to act this way. smh
Listening to the media cheerlead on behalf of a "good Christmas season" was pretty sickening. "Good" for whom? I dropped by an outdoors store and poked around, but that was about it.
what about the other 16%?
