Global System of White Supremacy?

Should brothas stick to playin' ball and let the white boys do the reffing?

In the same way that classifying people by race is sinking into some 'psychological quicksand', same goes for Peter King attacking Koman Coulibaly because he's from Mali and that somehow makes him unqualified to ref.

Coulibaly made a bad call, race and nationality are irrelevant. USA lost out, deal with it, bad reffing happens all the time in soccer. Just this past week Germany v Serbia, SA v Uruguay, Ghana v Australia were all matches where refs made bad calls. Esp for S.A when Ithumeleng Khune (goalie) got sent off and Germany v Serbia - 7 Yellow Cards and 1 Red??? Where were Peter King and his ilk (ESPN)with their jibes abt incompetent refs?

When Ireland lost out to France bec of Thierry Henry's 'hand of God', Ireland rightly kicked up a fuss bec it was the World Cup qualifying match. Unfairness not 'incompetence by ethnicity' was the issue.

Clinging to some mythical belief that Africans are inferior refs is a rabid attempt to coax up nationalism via resentment and a false belief in exceptionalism, from the masses on the Plantation. Crackers throwing out all their toys out the pram is pitiful and immature. Boohoo America, go cry to your Mama, the world aint got time for you! Despite the fact that team USA is holdin' it down, just to irritate the meedja eedijits, iHope Algeria whoops USA's behind on Weds. If not, then next round.

Konwomyn,

Come on... How are you going to try and take the racial angle out of the World Cup when that's exactly how it's been sold in America?

Sometimes refs make bad calls TO MANIPULATE GAMES. Racial motivation isn't just the stuff of "crackers," is it?

I'm not making the racial angle I'm responding to Peter King's hysterics. If y'watched any of the games I'd mentioned, add to that Brazil v Ivory Coast last night, you'd see that bad reffing is characteristic of most of the refs. It is not exceptional to Malian ability, it's FIFA's idiotic carding and fouling across the board.

And if the plantation inhabitants of America are stupid enuff to consume what plantation media sells why shouldn't I call them out on it? It's no different to DV calling out people for believing the hype of Big Govt or Plantation medical industrial complex...because it 'has been sold to them exactly like that.'

Peter King of SI?

Man, if you listen to anything that dude writes, you're a fool. Straight up bigot from way back who likes to hide behind the shield of "journalism." I've sent that cat so many emails blasting the obvious bias in his writing, and I've yet to see him address it.

How many of you root for the African countries no matter what, even against the USA??

I do.

...though I don't get what relevance the qsn has or is it just outta interest.

I hear you Kay Dub.

And you are absolutely right.

In a naive sort of way.

We can pretend that in this game of Digital Memetics race and nationality are not part of the equation.

Or ... we can acknowledge the obvious and deal accordingly.

I submit, that whether they should be ... or shouldn't be ... race and nationality are major factors in this equation.

1. The brother ... didn't make a "bad call" ...

He LOST HIS MUHFUGGIN MIND.

2. He doesn't look particularly crisp. Not saying he's stupid.

But he had an expression on his face like he smoked a blunt under the bleachers before kickoff.

In this world of HD imagery ... race and nationality memes are inevitable.

I say be ready for 'em with a comeback.

Big Man,

Can you post a link to an example of someone who is NOT bias in their writing?

Thanks.

LOL.

I feel you Cuz.

I pulled for the Ghanaians.

But not because they were African.

But because they were Black and handsome. Like me.

BLACK STARS BABY!!!

DeeVee!

Of course it's inevitable that race and nationality are going to invoked, but these are modern conundrums we deal with everyday here.

When its right, it's right. No doubt.

And when stupid invocations are made, they must be called out. As memes are created and distributed to free people from the Plantation, dodgy ones must also be challenged and destroyed.

And yea the Black Stars get the award for the Team with the Best Swag.

Goooooool!!!

Sory KW!

Algeria had nothing on the US.

Next game is against Ghana.

I want the US to win. But I'll make my bet on Ghana. Not because they're black or handsome. They just play better football.

Argentina will take the cup.
Remember where you heard it first.
LOL.
