Professor Gee Chee Shares Some Insight - Brothers Gonna Work It Out

"Science, understood in the restricted sense of an organized, orderly and objective knowledge of the natural order, is not the product of the modern mind alone. Such forms of knowledge has also been extensively cultivated in pre-modern civilizations such as the Chinese, Indian, and Islamic civilizations. These pre-modern sciences, however, differ from modern science with respect to goals, methodology, sources of inspiration, and their philosophical assumptions concerning man, knowledge, and the reality of the natural world. In pre-modern civilizations, science was never divorced from spiritual knowledge. On the contrary, one finds an organic unity of science and spiritual knowledge.

Nature is a source of many types of knowledge: mathematical, physical, and metaphysical; scientific and spiritual; qualitative and quantitative; practical and aesthetical. Each type of knowledge corresponds to a particular aspect of nature that is singled out for study. Modern science has chosen to study only some of these aspects. In conformity with its scientific conception of nature and its reductionistic and materialistic worldview, modern science ignores, belittles or denies altogether the metaphysical, spiritual, qualitative, and aesthetical aspects of nature. Eddington and Whitehead have rightly asserted that modern science is a kind of subjectively-selected knowledge since it deals only with those aspects of the reality of nature which the so-called scientific method is competent to study."

Gee-Chee,

We have to be careful to not forget why modern "Western" science has a particular focus on the physical to what appears to be a rejection of the transcendent.

They are attempting to manipulate "it" at the fundamental level.

But specifically, within the "default elite" are those seeking the singularity. This state of being is the realization of the "default elite." It literally GUARANTEES their perpetual eliteness. That drive to the singularity EXPLAINS the singular focus on the physical realm. It's the attempt to get to the "truth" of the "matter."

With this said, the "default elite" as gatekeeper of THE BEST science has to offer becomes problematic.

Look no further than steroids in baseball where the COMMISSIONER said the PERFORMANCE-ENHANCING "drugs" are a scourge on PROFESSIONAL baseball.

So when did baseball, or any professional sport, become a job that wasn't ALL ABOUT PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT?

The "default elite..."

They just tell us PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT IS BAD...

And then they seek the singularity...

Let's not forget that most of those that wield "physical science" like a wet noodle are liberals, first and foremost. They USE "physical science" as a tool to maximize their physical autonomy. They are also free to discard the "physical science" that minimizes their physical autonomy.

Remember, the atheist "scientist" is a self-refutation. It's a label worn by a radical autonomist seeking to maximize his autonomy by denying God's existence and elevating "physical science" to absolute truth.

The real question is how much control should the "default elite" have on THE BEST of the physical sciences BECAUSE we KNOW THEIR FUNDAMENTAL DRIVE...

Stay the "default elite!"
