Wellll in order to properly "twerk" one must lower the back with the head bowed low. This creates a slight curvature of the lower spine, making for optimal rump shaking. Also, ballet dancers wear chignons and lots of hip-hop dancers (my glory days lol) wear shades, hoodies and the like because dance is about THE BODY not the face or head. Dancers can take away from the artist if they are too much of a "face". Dance is about the bodie's movement and not who you are but what you represent. What you represent. What you represent.
Also, Ive never done work like that of in the video but so many women do. Don't get it twist, O. twerks with the best of them in the privacy of my own home. lol.
Personally I don't like seeing this on tv because people who don't understand make their own ideas about it and we end up with nightly CNN specials about the state of hip-hop bla blah blah.
In Jamaica and Africa sistaz get dowwwwwwwwwn and if you put that up in a new soulja boy video we would really be called ignant!
