Well, since you didn't caption the bottom pictures...I'll help you out.
Nobody wears the woodland camoflauge anymore. In the last 3 photos, the top and bottom is probably circa 1994-95 when when the US Army's 10th Mountain Division was dispatched to Haiti to provide security to restore Aristide to power (you can see 10th Mountains insignia on the bottom photo)
The middle photo is of US Marines wearing woodland digital camoflauge, with LAV's (light armored vehicles). This picture could be from 2004, when Aristide was forced to leave. It's unlikely from the 2010 earthquake since the USS Bataan just recently arrived...too early for LAV's to be on the ground so quickly.

The point of the piece is to graphically illustrate the continuous history of American interventionism in Haiti. It wasn't intended to be a treatise on contemporary Military Adventurism and fashion theory.

What you STILL don't understand Plantation Negro MD ... is that the soldiers "helping restore" Aristide and the soldiers "helping remove" Aristide ... ARE PART THE SAME EFFORT ... That has nothing to do with Aristide.

Details, my slow friend. I was referring to the last three pictures only...the ones you purposely hadn't captioned (but you'd know that if you read with any care). You found three pictures with uniformed soldiers and Marines. The top and bottom were likely taken between August and January 94-95, the one in the middle with Marines taken sometime in 2004. (Why do I always need to repeat myself with you?) Like I said, my captions helped your treatise. I'm well aware of U.S. military intervention in Haiti, and Latin/South America. But you might want to let your readers know WHY 10th Mountain is arresting Haitian police in 1994, and why U.S. Marines are walking patrols around the National Palace in 2004. Or would you just prefer to write in generalizations?
