But now, every horrible image of death, chaos and mayhem in Haiti, explodes from flat screen TV's, computer monitors, iPods and Blackberrys in a steady stream of mind shaping memes.
The memetic subtext of this imagery is clear: "This is what could happen in America if we don't exercise more control over the blacks here".
It is the duty of free black people to present counter memes, counter images to this misrepresentation of the immense and complex humanity of the Haitian people. Don't let them be misportrayed.

Just like Katrina.
Genetic behavior is predictably consistent.
People are robotic slaves to their genes.
When are liberals finally going to start admitting that?
300,000 people were horrifically killed in the Indonesian tsunami. Yet, there wasn't mass looting and violence there. Why? Because they were genetically Asian and not Black?
I co-sign on this one 100%. It is up to "us" to counter this and all the negative talk and memes throughout the media.
Interestingly, european right-wing populist political movements have been dusting off and deploying the WW-II vintage graphical propaganda to whip up increased animosity toward yellow, brown, and black immigrants. There, however, it's "culture" and "religion" serving as the animating excuses.
Far more interesting and ironic still is the NYTimes claim that Americans are blessedly and blissfully free of any such right-wing populist memetic contagion.
How effective could WW-II style propaganda posters be in the U.S. in any event, where white flight/urban sprawl has effectively atomized the american racial majority into automotively encased commuter drones whose primary medium of socio-political indoctrination is now continuously pumped 24/7 via cable HD?
YES! May I add you are doing a fine job sir.
Saw this coming a mile away. Which is why there was very little watching of the "Haiti crisis" in Big Man's house. I know the business, and like I said on my blog, the business is foul.
