Yes, indeed go off your psych meds, please, especially if you are schizophrenic or bipolar. I'm sure our host can steer you towards some nuts and berries that will keep the demons in your head at bay, if not there are plenty of shopping carts to keep your possessions in while you run from the voices in your head. Hey while you are at it if you happen to have syphilis, maybe you should toss that penicillin down the toilet too, all you have is "bad blood", not a treatable disease caused by Treponema pallidum...that IS what you are advocating right?

This commercial or public service announcement was extreme but brought up some real serious points. The main one being that children are over medicated, particularly on psych meds and almost all of the school shooters at Columbine and others were on psych meds.
The UK doesn't even allow people under age of eighteen to take psych meds unless the circumstances are extreme and the drugs are the ONLY way to treat the children. The primary course of treatment for children with psychiatric disorders is exercise and dietary changes.
For some people, I'm certain psych meds can be beneficial as could St. John's wart or Valerian root but it ain't right to dope up an entire nation, as is our wont in the US!
