What's more heterosexual than that?

Hmmm. A bejeweled young man with long flowing tresses, half clothed with his undergarments exposed is the archetype of hetero? Maybe in 2008 but not 1958. If the gold standard is providing a lesson in self-determination, I guess Bayard Rustin was Superfly.

Seriously, I've never blamed Hip Hop for anything. I'm proud of my linguistic heritage and embrace its role in providing autonomy to a people who endured centuries of subjugation. But if Hip Hop has any meaningful value beyond displays of wit and audacity, it is to be found in the lower frequencies and the ghettos of France and Palestine rather than with highly remunerated plantation Negroes on Forbes list.

The wholesalers in Africa didn't create or manage the Triangle Trade. They just used superior guile and strength of arms to profit from the export of slave labor. Since their trans-Atlantic voyage, music and dance, along with rewards for the best performers, were used as tools for social control of black peoples. Certainly blacks in Brazil used dance to mask martial arts and American blacks did parodies of their owners through dance. The blues, gospel, jazz, and rap arise from a tradition of resistance.

Today's corporations, however, have mastered the art of manipulating audience tastes. Some artists possess the skill and discipline to become rich beyond imagination. Good for them. But let's not delude ourselves into thinking that they're providing a blueprint for self-determination.

If Shawn Carter ever publishes a Jay Gatsby inspired memoir detailing his maneuvering in the labyrinth of power and the contempt aimed at him by rich whites and the limits imposed on him that can't be overcome with money and celebrity then let me know.

And in case you haven't heard, Barack Obama is the greatest Establishment Negro present in America. Just ask Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Young Money Entertainment is an American record label founded by New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne. The label is an imprint of Cash Money Records, of which Lil Wayne was president, and is distributed by Universal Records of Universal Music Group[1]. As of October 2, 2007, Lil Wayne has stated in an interview with Vibe magazine that he gave his position in Young Money Entertainment to Cortez Bryant[2].

OK. Casper. I guess we are at the point where you do the "Cut & Paste" routine, as if you are making some kind of sick point.

Bra, IF ONE WANTED TO, one could cut and paste a link suggesting the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King had "deep rooted homosexual tendencies." Don't make it true.

The key being - IF ONE WANTED TO

Which sheds light on the fact that Casper WANTS TO.

You want to believe that kind of shit because these brothers who are so different from you - seem so self-satisfied and content - they obviously emasculate you.

Which is the root of most of the rap hate from establishment Negros.

Hand-to-mouth House Negros hating rich Field Negros.

You tellin' on yourself Casper.

You call this rich??? Need to pull your head out of the sand son!

Beanie blamed the relapse on financial pressure he is under as he is facing losing his home and being unable to travel outside the Phily area to perform, he can't earn touring money. The terms of his release said he couldn't leave the state. Beanie isn't having luck with record sales either, he says he only "gets 14 cents on the dollar for every CD that is sold, and that is only after the record companies get their money off the top," continuing "I'm losing everything because of this situation." But he did admit that his own actions had placed him in this situation.

Oh!..So you are having a hard time with me posting news articles that point to the fact that your idol rappers and hiphop artist are pulling the wool over your love stricking eyes about their true sexuality. I have told you son... you need to spend more time in the streets and leave the golf resorts alone for a minute... Your losing any street perspective you may have once had... Ghetto life aint no joke Fresh Prince. BTW isn't most of your blog topics cut & pasted?! Half this shit I see on Bossip...Media Takeout... TSO... etc. So keep it real son!
