Would You Trade Andrew Bynum for Amare Stoudemire? How About Yao Ming? 2 Months Ago - Hell Yeah. Today - I Don't Know.

It doesn't take all day to recognize sunshine. Bynum may be the third best center in the league right now, after Dwight Howard and Tim Duncan. Who would you rather have? Chris Kaman? Nah. He has better numbers but they don't seem to be helping the Clippers. Shaq is having trouble just staying on the court. Stoudemire is a forward playing out of position. Tyson Chandler is one dimensional. Same with Marcus Camby. Who else? Eddy Curry? Please. Ben Wallace?

If Bynum doesn't make your top three now, he will by the playoffs.

KG ran through the Ladies *oops* Lakers when they came to visit Boston. How you list this cat over KG?

Come on DV I expect better of you! You are seriously shooting blanks lately, but you still my man regardless! Stop drinking that damn eggnog and come with the fire you playing like Shaq of late.

LOL.

Cute Story.

But you trying too hard. Quit frontin'. You impressed. If you know a more dynamic intellect on the internet, or a more eclectic editorial in cyberspace, cut and paste a link.

But you right man. KG is ... a phenomena. I'm almost reluctant to call him a "center". He's more of a hybrid. He revolutionized what it meant to be a big man.

But, I still wouldn't trade Bynum for him.

There's what, an 11 year gap? KG has done his thing. Probably peaked. This boy just learning to walk.

So Story, you are the eager beaver student in the Kung Fu flick come to defend the honor of his teacher, Mike Fisher, who just had his ass kicked by Bruce Lee.

I like that.

Come on Grasshopper. But come harder than that and pick something other than basketball. Look around, I give you a lot from which to choose.

He's 4th best, after Howard down in Orlando too. Bynum always had potential, which is why he was the one player I was unwilling to let go in a Kobe trade. Kareem is working with him and says he's a great student of the game. Respect for the game - a lost art.

Kobe needs to shut his pie hole and just admit he was wrong and needs to stay in L.A.

Of ... all the things one could say about arguably the best basketball player to ever play the game ... you choose "shut his pie hole"?

Does a brother have to lead a March on Washington to get a little empathy?

LOL!

That's what I like about you DV you do your own thang!

Now regarding the topic that you posted and my response (stay focused Bro.), in your post you cited Duncan, Shaq, and Ben Wallace, and Camby, without even mentioning KG at all. Correct me if I am wrong all the cats listed above have been in the league for a minute just like KG.

As for you point regarding KG being a hybrid, the league is full of so-called hybrids now. Especially with regards the center/power forward position.

My point is if you are make a list of best centers in the league that you might trade this cat for, you should have listed KG *the best big man in the league now* as well as all those others! Endgame!

As for being impressed your ability to share your knowledge of what you see and how you see it, I am truly impressed. Game recognizes game and your tight with yours!

As for the eager beaver defender of Fisher, "Naw Dawg you got me all wrong on that!" Fisher can hold his owe from what I can see.

I just call it as I see it and walk it like I be it!

As I mentioned in my other post I am not used to see you get handled by Fisher. But you missed that comment I guess *interesting*. That addresses the pick something else beside basketball comment.

Grasshopper *good stuff, LOL* You do not win all you battles though you usually fight hard and for that I have much respect. That sound like KG when you think about it!

Kobe doesn't need my empathy.

Anyway, I just felt that he was jumping the gun on the trade demands. Any team we could have traded him to would have been garbage after the trade because we would have taken all their best players and draft picks. Where was his logic?

Now, Kobe's in the paper talking about "winning the championship." We may not win it this year, but we might make the Conference finals. If Bynum gets much better, the League better look out. I like Ariza too.

Kobe is just as athletically gifted as Jordan, but Jordan's shooting percentage and shot selection were better, which is where I see the difference. In terms of effort, Kobe always gives 120%, which I really like to watch.

Big J, who is this magical "we" whose interest Kobe should consider paramount?

Isn't "we" really Massa Jerry Buss ...oops. I mean Mr. Jerry Buss?

It's his team. "We" are just consumers. Ticket holders. TV Viewers. Kobe is the product.

Jerry is just a middle man. A profiteer who has never shot a basketball in his life.

Why you so loyal to his interests? Because you live in LA you think the Lakers are "yours"?

Not saying this is a case of "What's a matter Massa .. we sick" - but it's close.

Your thinly veiled hostility towards the hero of your favorite team is counterintuitive. I'd like the better understand twisted psychology behind that strange phenomena.

You've never referred to a team as "yours?" When your son's football team plays, do you not say "we" need to get a turnover?

Just as we should allow rappers to freedom to use analogy to express their ideas . . . perhaps we should do the same to brilliant lawyers who like sports.

The center position has the least amount of depth in terms of talent. Bynum at #3 is about (if you leapfrog the kind of diehard laker fan you must be) upside/potential, not what he can give any team regardless of supporting cast TODAY. Laker fans have been looking for any signs of life out of the post for so long that you're exaggerating Bynum's game.

I'd have to put Gasol, Yao, Al Jefferson & an injured Jermaine O'Neal over Bynum maybe even the youngblood Lamarcus Aldridge. Duncan, KG, Stoudemire, Bosh are givens no matter what position you claim. Ppl still say Duncan is a true 4 not a 5.

I saw him put up 28 on Phx. When he does it vs teams that play D and rebound I'll be more impressed.

When he spun baseline and banged on Shaq then caused a skirmish by pushing him the possession after Shaq banged on him, I gained new respect for Kid Bynum's heart. Make sure mitch and buss don't FUBAR this one up too... then blame kobe.

He's not better than Amare Stoudemire...

KG need I say more!

Did you check him out last Night? He ran a basketball clinic on your boy! He had him on the bench with a notebook & pen in his hand. KG is nothing nice, just ask the Lakers they will confirm it.

Yeah Soulijah,

I just got through watching that disaster on Tivo.

KG is a beast.

A.B. hasn't even finished growing yet.

Give him 24 months and he and Kobe will win 3 championships before Kobe retires.

DV,

Your boy Kobe could probably win a championship much sooner if he just passed the rock! If Kobe averaged 5 to 7 assist per game, he would be unstoppable! To me that is the difference between Kobe & Lebron. Lebron understands that in order to win championships he must pass as well as shoot. Kobe does not get it! He is by far the most talented player in the league, IMO. But he is a one-man show which is great for espn highlights but it will not win championships.

Lebron is far more advanced at his age than Kobe for that simple reason of being unselfish with the rock. Though at the same time knowing when to step up and demand the rock from his teammates.
