SPECTOR TRIAL ENDS IN MISTRIAL. Where Is The "OJ" Outrage?

15 years later the OJ outrage is still fresh.

A Jewish Producer, high on drugs, shoots a woman in the face, in 2003, walks out of court in 2007 and ... crickets.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - The specter of Phil Spector will haunt Hollywood well into 2008. On Wednesday, the judge presiding over the legendary "Wall of Sound" producer's murder trial declared a mistrial after jurors indicated they were hopelessly deadlocked, 10-2, in favor of convicting Spector on charges that he killed actress Lana Clarkson more than four years ago.

Acquittal is very much different from a hung jury. But as the good white folks will tell you, this is not a Black and white issue.

O.J. case. Cameras poised near every group of 15 or more Black folks to get the reaction to the verdict. Black folks cheering is the iconic image of the Simpson trial. That pissed them off more than the fact that the Juice was found not guilty.

We'll never know if there were groups of white folks cheering, because white folks getting off heinous shit is not a new thing. White folks are quite used to getting off. They know how to take it in stride. It's not their first touchdown and it won't be their last. No need to dance in the endzone.

What I want to see is a civil jury take Spector for everything he'll ever have.

Damn good point Exodus. Damn good point. I didn't think about it like that.

The media choreographed and produced the image of blacks "reacting" to the OJ verdict the same way the produce the images of fans reacting to a NCAA basketball victory.

Why?

Intentional balkanization.

Divide us into little manageable groups of conformists.
