Words of wisdom from a man that complained bitterly when a person he considered to 'black' was chosen to portray him in a made for t.v. movie.
Lou Gosset Jr. as I remember.

Yeah, DV,

I don't know why you're so big on Sadat. Wasn't he pretty much a sellout?

I'm not really into the celebrity gossip. I just let the man speak for himself.

My comment was worded too bluntly. I should have said: "DV, an intellectually free, stand-up, spiritual brother like youself seems somewhat at odds to what MY understanding of Sadat was. I look at him as the Egyptian leader that capitulated to Isreal and America, but I may be missing more about the man. Can you please enlighten me? Thanks, Family."

LOL.

Nah J.

I was referring to that nonsense Skip posted.

Negotiating peace between Israel and Egypt with the aid of Jimmy Carter in 1976 was a smart move. It laid the ground-work for peace in the middle east. It was courageous and ahead of its time.

That's why Israel killed him.

Read what a young Sadat wrote when he was in prison. He will remind you of Mandela and King.

the truth is the truth whether spoken by sinners or saints.

I like that J. Very Martin Luther of you. (King that is.).

I ain't into Mandela, that sell out.

As far as Sadat was concerned, he had a big problem with the fact hat he was a black man. The Egytians are really only honorary Arabs. Mostly they look too much like black people. They got a big problem with that. It's the Mulatto's eternal dilemma.

The move to make peace with Israel made sense 'cause the other Arab countries could not get their shit together. Besides the Palestinians are actually Syrians anyhow. So let Assat worry about them.

That's an awfully big jump in logic brother Mike.

I wouldn't want Lou Gossett to play me either. And I'm so black even my tofu is fried.

I wouldn't want Harold Ford Jr. to play me either.

He sold out for the dollars that were waved in his face, just like Jordan has, and the other neighbors there abouts.
Israel gets the biggest slice of the pie, but Egypt is number two.

Peace treaty with Israel ?
You have to be kidding.
The Israeli`s would soon as kill ya as spit.
And Carter may have a tie going with Bush as worse president.
It was pure dollar business.

Skip,

You've strung together a bunch of unconnected sound bites that could be said about anyone.

Jimmy Carter worse president? Says who? Judging by what? If you are going to parrot the corporate media's assessment of Carter - at least qualify the statement.

Please don't regurgitate that nonsense sold to the masses which suggests "he" was responsible for 19% inflation.

Well, both Bush and Carter are born agains. That is an automatic disconnection from reality.
All that blood of Jesus stuff.
Both have the same vantage that the Jews are the supernatural heroes of god.
Both believe that the history of the world is going to be determined by the house of David.
David was a famous bandit, that was tricky in killing his enemy`s and consolidating power.
Both players believe the great lies of a tribal god endorsing their mass killings.
