But when you go one generation out, their heirs amassed so much wealth, that their transgressions are whitewashed. They are remembered as "pioneers". I am sure there were Irish who hated on the elder Kennedy for profiting off his people's alcoholism. But one generation later, the Kennedy family became deities in their community.
True wealth and legitimacy takes generations to build. Is it possible that 50 and Snoop are the beginning of similar dynasties?

Neither Joe Kennedy, nor Rockefeller, nor the Bushies, nor the early Jewish gangsters worked for gangsters of another ethnic group. That's why they were killing each other all the time.
The only ones who let another ethnic group into their business was the Italian mob. - They let Jews handle their money.

50 and Snoop would have to do something intelligent with their lives and their fortunes to even begin to approximate the examples you used. Not one of those early criminal minds put spinning rims on every car they could buy, and spent all their time tricking and making it rain. They made money and then they taught their money how to make money. Snoop and 50 and all the others like them are just high profile dumb ass consumers in a culture of dumb ass consumers.
