What about the man, do you find "not smart"? Is it because he is not a graduate of one of our nation's esteemed diploma factories? Is it because he sells a product that is not completely noble and pure?

I would consider any man smart, who uses the resources available to him to escape the societal traps placed at the foot of his cradle. Judging this young man by his actions, he is much more formidable, intelligent and courageous than a Harold Ford Jr.Millions of young black boys just witnessed a black man make millions of dollars in an intelligent, legitimate, and bold financing venture. How many young black men would even recognize Dick Parsons or Ken Chenault?
Widely applauded as African-American success stories, those cats are simply custodians for business owned by white men. They may as well be Vladimir Putin and Arnold Swarzenegger to the legions of young black kids with little interest in the glorified indentured servitude of corporate America.Hip Hop Niggas are doing for themselves what Plantation Negros are begging Massa to do for them.

Me a hater? NO, it's just not true. I don't hate. I love too much to hate. I simply speak the truth to the people. Nothing more, nothing less. Plantation Negro? NO you couldn't be referring to me, as I escaped the plantation almost 20 years ago, and never looked back. I consistently implore my people to not ask Massa for anything and to be very wary of what he gives you if he happens to be feeling generous.
So Mr Curtis Jackson, who no matter how much money he manages to acquire, will not impress me as an intelligent man unless and until he begins to display at least a few of the characteristics of an intelligent man. Security??! They can get to the President man! What makes you think somebody won't peel 50's cap if he continues to play the street thug role?
An intelligent man doesn't conduct himself like Mr. Jackson's public persona of 50 Cent. An intelligent man is thoughtful and respectful of others. An intelligent man expressed his intelligence, not just in word, but in deed. An intelligent man would never prey on his community, debase and degrade himself with buffonish behavior, and claim that his life was the standard to be achieved.
An intelligent man would not let himself be used as a tool for his people's destruction.
Many very crafty or very lucky people manage to acquire a lot of money. Many house Negroes manage to curry enough of Massa's favor and live high on the hog. Perhaps Mr. Jackson is one of those class of people. But no respect and certainly no admiration will be forthcoming from me just because his bank account is fat.
i'm new to this blog. i just have to say, i appreciate the food for thought. and exodus... thank you for sharing. i'm glad to know there are people in this world who think like me. financial wealth does not a smart/successful human make. how are you contributing to the advancement of mankind? that's what i want to know....
