LOL...A common black American error. We want to believe other, non U.S. black folk are somehow, um mo' betta than us. But not true. We are not the worst, probably more famous for bad behavior, but not the worst behaved.
Maybe this is a kind of African Worship Syndrome many blacks in the Americas suffer.
As far as the word "nigga" they used, I was not suprised at all. I truly believe that most blacks (along with their non black counterparts) outside of the Americas want to emulate either black people in the U.S. or Jamaicans. Yet, at the same time will treat us with a certain level of disdain (something like white folk do here) calling us akata in a very derogatory sense.

lol, international, worldwide....,
Wow. It never occurred to me that a west african person would ever use the term "nigger". Not sure why I would expect them to behave less badly than an American black person.
Umm ...
I caught that too.
"nigger".
But what does that mean?
Really?
What is significant about the use of that word by these people?
What does it tell us?
Does that word really have but one meaning?
Does it have a singular connotation?
Is it ever appropriate?
I see it as a word invented by Black people and perpetuated by Black people.
I see it as a word more tonal than literal.
I often struggle to find a word more appropriate.
I submit, dear Lady Conservative, ...
The term "nigger" is not really a word.
It is a sound.
A feeling.
A tonal communication between black folks not much different from the sounds dolphins and wales sing to each other.
"dooo ...
"dooo ...
"doooo ...
"niiiiiiiiiiig errrrrrr"
Hear it?
Ahh, see thats why I love my DV.net fam. See I wasn't the only one who caught that.
I don't know, DV, if i've fully resolved exactly how I feel about the term tho.
"dooo ...
"dooo ...
"doooo ...
"niiiiiiiiiiig errrrrrr"
Only you DV only you...lol
Wait, did that crazy ballhead chick throw a pot of hot grits?
Don't get me wrong, i'm not one of those people who has a conniption just on hearing it, and I don't even care all that much if white people use it, as I see it as little more than allowing someone to wield power over you through a label, my problem is trying to resolve how I feel about using it on myself and others.
You should use JIGGABOO instead. Several hundred times daily, keeps your teeth shiny and white, while avoiding inconvenient nigga moments with hypersensitive jiggaboos looking for an excuse to pretend they're offended.
Like these gottdayyum jiggaboos pretending they're upset about http://diaryofahollywoodstreetking.com/ask-jacky-is-gwyneth-paltrow-racist-for-using-the-n-word/
If it were only the two of them in some dark alley there's no way she would have broken her safety zone principle.
She made the mistake thinking he would modify his reaction for the audience.
@CNu
She's invested in her pop culture.

hilarious...,
GP has a very likeable public persona.
Thing is black folks don't know what to identify as racist. If a powerless white person says nigger, he is more racist than a law maker that contributes to the prison industrial complex while employing all politically correct terms on camera.
As much as nigga is probably a part of Paul Wall's vocab, I doubt he's ever been charged with being racist. In fact I'm sure within his intimate circle he's probably dropped a few black/ashy jokes on his closest compadres. I could see him going off like Gary Owen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HwzFxx3vFk
Now my man Jay E on the other hand got me head scratching.

Stupidity sells in Afrika also.
This is what happens when negroes go on vacation with pilgrims:

The "N**gas in Paris" Twitter controversy is deeply rooted in a lack of agency and ownership over our own vast influence on mainstream culture

Is it just me ...
Or did that chick really need the shit smacked out of her?
...
...
Putting your hands on a woman ... no.
Putting your hands on a Lady, is the most punk thing a cat can do.
Smacking the shit out of some female who wants to act like a man, while taking advantage of rules put in place for women ... is another subject.
As a child, I was always told to keep my hands to myself.
Today, as a woman, I would never jump in a man's face begging him to slap me.
Yet, I've noticed an exclusive difference of aggressiveness between American men and those bred in other countries. Maybe it's the water...
Judging from this video, Greek Golden Dawn bout ready to start digging and using mass graves...., that right thurr's some "I don't give a phuk, not a single phuk, not a single solitary phuk!!!" type acting out.
Here is what I have noticed:
1) While the African that is plugged into Western entertainment is now seeing executing much of the foolishness of "Jersey Shore" to we have here in America................
2) The BLACK AMERICAN is increasingly adopting a consciousness about himself that has come from the self-indulgence of Hollywood.
As a resident of metro-Atlanta we get our fair share of "Black 'Red Carpet' events".
While on the one hand I applaud the "You don't need to walk down the White man's red carpet', ROLL OUT YOUR OWN damned carpet", the sad truth is that this is not done in the name of DIGNITY or CONSCIOUSNESS.
Typically a group of Blacks come up with the idea, have the SAME corporate entertainment propagandists bankrolling the "Black faced" effort and now we merely have more film footage to fill up the 300 cable channel line up.
All of the years Blacks have aspired to walk on the red carpet in the name of being accepted as EQUAL - what we actually have is a large CLOWN CAR pulling up at the curb and allowing the clowns to do somersaults down the runner, for entertainment purposes.
I would be more impressed if the "Black version" of the red carpet had the old "country" clear plastic protectors that had the little pimples on the bottom to hold it in place.
Smacking the shit out of some female who wants to act like a man, while taking advantage of rules put in place for women ... is another subject.
If you have to hit and you can't win by playing by the rules, you're just stupid, IMO. YMMV. IANAL.
