1) The Anti-War Progressive left in America has been working to expose "The Neo-Cons" for decades
2) The "Project For A New America" used to be used as the expose' of the Neo-cons agenda. It was second only to "The Confessions Of An Economic Hit Man" by John Perkins.
BUT WAIT - brother DV - HOW MANY PROTESTS do you now see over the "Neo-Con" strategy TO-DAMNED-DAY?
* I heard PRAISE about Obama handling of the "3am Phone Call" from Black Wing Grievance Radio when he bombed Libya and also ran 2 raids into Somalia which killed a total of 12 Somalians in order to save a told of 3 Westerners
* 2 weeks ago the NY Times Sunday ran an article detailing how Obama has used DRONES to KILL TERROR SUSPECTS (as defined by the USA) far more than either of his predecessors. Despite this article in the newspaper that has exposed "The Neo-Cons" THERE ARE NO PROTESTS.
* Obama green lighted expanded use of Drones in Yemen and Pakistan - yet in the speech that I heard from John Hendrick Clarke who argued that Black people must adopt an "Afro-Centric" perspective in order to achieve our mental liberation - NO ONE in Black Intelligentsia is now arguing that what WE are providing cover for with Obama's CIA today is going to later come back and haunt our interests one a LESS FAVORABLE PRESIDENT does the same.
MY ARGUMENT, DV, is that the US MILITARY IMPERIALIST MACHINE is going to do what it is going to do. PRESIDENT OBAMA IS THE FACE ON THE MACHINE.
His primary function is to PACIFY THE DOMESTIC ANTI-WAR LEFT thus neutralizing their proclivity to PROTEST - thus harming Obama's reelection chances. AND the BLACK PROGRESSIVE who has been conditioned to LIVE VICARIOUSLY THROUGH OBAMA that they are NOT going to say anything about the US Foreign policy lest their DOMESTIC SOCIAL JUSTICE strategy is up ended.
This proves that they are REVERSE - Martin Luther King Jr's as he REFUSED to allow domestic social justice promises to buy off his criticism about US Foreign Police.
WHAT WE ARE SEEING, DV -- is the COST of Negroes believing that "WE are in the White House" - having fused our "Black Community Development Struggle" with the hijacked POLITICAL struggle that we are living today.
NOT a bullet is shot by the US Military without Obama's signature.
The COMPLICITY of the Neo-Liberals is EQUAL to the complicity of the Neo-Cons.
You are correct Bro. Feed, when it comes to imperialism the neo-conservatives and the neo-liberals have the same objectives. The neo-liberals selected the most brilliant stroke of disguised hypocrisy in American political history—Barack Obama, to execute their agenda. And he does so without a whimper of protest.
I can accept the duplicity of the American Imperialist Machine.
I really can.
When I was listening to a program about John Henrik Clarke - talking from an AFRO-CENTRIC perspective - I realized how much of a FRAUD that which presents itself as "The Black (American) Agenda is.
These Negroes say "WE are in the White House". This type of things make me cry inside. It really does. It shows that some people will compromise themselves like a TRICK - but for cheap.
They are fighting ALONG SIDE OBAMA but can't see that THE MACHINE is still rolling.
[Every interview had its own surprise; from Ramona Africa describing President Obama as 'the new crack' and why she refused to vote, to economist Dr. Julianne Malveaux revealing the financially precarious situations many African Americans find themselves in; from high foreclosure rates and high unemployment to the low levels of accumulated wealth for black women. Very sobering statistics. Michelle Alexander, too, the author of The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness really shocked me when she said that more African American men are currently incarcerated than were enslaved in 1850.
However, it was Dr Vincent Harding, the man behind Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's "Beyond Vietnam" speech that surprised me the most. A true veteran of the civil rights movement, he made the point that the election of President Obama was never the goal of the movement; instead he prefers to call the work "the movement for the expansion and deepening of democracy in America." Put this way, it made me realize more than ever, that the work we do today is not in isolation, but part of a wider movement, stretching back all the way to slavery. And the work isn't over.]-- Joanne Griffith

It was even conceivable that they watched everybody all the time. But at any rate they could plug in your wire whenever they wanted to. You had to live—did live, from habit that became instinct—in the assumption that every sound you made was overheard, and, except in darkness, every movement scrutinized."

The founders of the American state understood that the proper functioning of a democracy required an educated electorate. It is this understanding that justifies a system of public education and that led slaveholders to resist the spread of literacy among their chattels. But the meaning of "educated" has changed beyond recognition in two hundred years. Reading, writing, and arithmetic are no longer sufficient to decide on public policy. Now we need quantum mechanics and molecular biology. The knowledge required for political rationality, once available to the masses, is now in the possession of a specially educated elite, a situation that creates a series of tensions and contradictions in the operation of representative democracy.
