1) "Gay Marriage"(an oxymoron like 'promiscuous virgins') is a non-issue designed to distract Plantation Negros and Plantation Crackas.
2) No one really gives shit who "marries" whom.
3) Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are the same candidate, controlled by the same evil puppet masters.
4) America is becoming a prison. The inmates are kept sick, fat and stupid because the sick the fat and the stupid are easy to control.

Brother DV:
1) Which candidate has a CONGREGATION that compelled Black people to hold "The Black Agenda" on an ideological extreme cable network?
2) Which candidate compelled Black people to say "WE are now in the White House" as evidence of their vicarious living through him?
3) Which candidate has Negroes talking about the TRENDS in the economy rather than the BLACK UNEMPLOYMENT RATE - 50 years after HIS PARTY took control over the institutions within the Black community?
EMOTIONAL CONNECTION TO AMERICAN POLITICS is the worst thing to ever effect Black people during our FREE status in America.
When push comes to shove and they have to make a decision to PUNT or CONTINUE ON THE CONFIDENCE SCHEME - the average Black person will choose NOT to criticize the Black Racial Services Machine for their failure. Instead they will agree to focus on the external enemy and thus continue the struggle.
There is NOTHING about our present consciousness as Black Americans that could offer significant structural support for any other diasporic collection of Black people around the world.

2) I do not understand your point or how it relates to the post.
You speak of Black people and politics as if there is such a thing.
THERE.
IS.
NO.
BLACK.
POLITICS.
Black people have about as much political power in this country as cows have political power on a farm.
If you're easy to control that's your responsibility. The least you can do is to acknowledge that.
One of the most critical areas of power is influence. What the magazine cover demonstrates is how people who've identified themselves as homosexuals have positioned themselves in the media, which of course influences politics.
Power is the ability to define your reality and have others accept your definition.
