Brother DV:

Is Santa Claus and his past adoption and present execution as an "Africa-America cultural fixture" any less of a problem for you?

If we look past the fact that some Black folks decided to capture and organize certain universal principles of consciousness and then affix certain rituals to them - HOW are the core principles made problematic?

The sight of folks going wild over "da shoes" and hair clipped from the heads of poor girls in India trumps anything that Kwanzaa ever did negatively to Black consciousness.
