In Plantation Negro News ...

Hey DV,

Plan on discussing the Nivea ad? I certainly wasn't surprised to hear the ad was created by Clif Carson, a black PR agent from New York.

Black men want to dip their hand so bad into the white man's cookie jar that they don't give a damn if they have to use their own people as a stool.

A sista would've never created such an ad.

Y'all negroes make me sick. Actin like being wit a black woman should suddenly be congratulated. Listen up, just because you date your own kind don't give you clearance to talk ish about us. And quit bragging that you play golf with the company VP on the weekends. We still aint impressed.

White corporate execs go crazy over black pussy (ask me how). If you want that promotion that bad-- just say so. Stepping on your own people is unbecoming.

Big deal, this was designed by a Black dude and there was also another poster in his ad campaign featuring a white guy holding a similar scruffy head.

I love how Black folks get infuriated by this but not Obama invading Libya! Which they probably don't even know is in Africa!

OMG! Haitian Chick what is wrong with you? If you do not agree with or care for the information being offered here, WHY DO YOU KEEP COMING BACK?!?

I really would like to go in on you for SO many different reasons but I'll keep it classy and just say, please go away.

@rGb:

Yeah, Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs been at it for a minute now; GQ even did a piece on them a while ago.

It's funny to me though, that they state this is "pushing the boundaries of Black style"...it's simply style and how clothes are designed to be worn in the first place. I see grown ass men walking around with 3XL polo shirts on with the sleeve halfway down their forearm, when the shirt was originally designed to have the sleeves stop right about the middle of the bicep; same for t-shirts.

Negroes don't understand the concept of minimal to no break, how the shoulders of a blazer or suit jacket are supposed to fit snug and actually straighten your posture, and so on.

And if I see one more of these young dudes walking around with skinny jeans on with their whole ass hanging out...might just have to kick 'em in the face.

All this dressing like a big head third grader with cartoon characters holding pistols and weed on an oversized, heavy ass cotton t-shirt (and ususally more than one worn at the same time) is ridiculous.

And there you have it. The NY times piece is about a year late anyway. Black bloggers were hip to these cats last summer.

And style is style. Everyone has their own. I find a brother rocking a wife beater and baggy jeans just as sexy as a brother rockin a polo sweater and some dress shoes. It's all about what is appropriate for the occasion.

And dolls.life-- the fact that you took the energy to throw shade makes me realize just how fabulous I really am. *smooches*
