The Prostate Exam Myth • How The Medical Industrial Complex Convinced Men That An Annual Ass Raping Ritual Is An Effective Way To Prevent Cancer

With all of the modern technology available to medical doctors ...from the 64-slice cardiac CT scan that is able to capture the images of a human heart in just five heartbeats ... to the PillCam ESO, which is a camera-in-a-pill that allows doctors to diagnose diseases of the esophagus ... to the sonogram technology that allows expecting parents to view their child while still in the womb in 3D color ... you mean to tell me the best way modern medical doctors have to treat / detect prostate cancer is to stick their fingers up men's asses once a year?

The supposedly scientific explanation is that one day the doctor will stick his finger in a man's ass,  detect the signs of prostate cancer, and subsequently prescribe immunity destroying "cancer drugs" ... before it's too late

Bullshit.

Prostate Cancer is a billion dollar business.  The Prostate exam neither prevents nor cures cancer.  What is it for ... other than to make money and force men into the ultimate act of submission?

Gotta long time friend, black male 43. Prostate was removed in October of last year.

He was visiting his primary care physician for something unrelated, blood was drawn, a shortwhile later he recv'd a call to return for a follow-up and was informed that the lab results indicated some abnormal levels of some sort which were indicative of prostate cancer. The ironic part is that a couple of months prior he'd gone in for his first rectal exam and the doctor didn't detect any abnormality. His initial visit to the urologist resulted in a second assault - again nothing detected but a subsequent biopsy confirmed what the blood test had detected.

...43 with no prostate; nine months later and he says things are still amiss.

He was checked and told he was good until next year. She gave no further advice and worst of all he asked nothing else. Just keep on eating that hydrogenated shyt along with the high fructose corn crap.
Thats it, eat your life away and go see her again next year for another male backshot!

Good night everyone!

DV,

I get the notion that every male at their earliest 20's is already paranoid about this shit and planning on getting fingered already.

My friend told me that WE (??) should be getting ourselves checked in a few years.

I'm like: "WTF is your problem dude?" - "I am 26"

32,000 men died from prostate cancer in 2010 (NCI)

Now, how many of these men were overweight or did not have a healthy lifestyle.

Disease is no lottery ticket.

For instance blame it on your karma, but there is always a cause for your reality and it's always you.

Sources? Evidence? Quotes? Link? Sigh. Like my African-American history professor used to always say: "If you can't argue your point-- you have no argument."

Didn't they teach you that in colle-- oh wait-- college is for losers according to DV.

Well its been fun but not really. Stick to dishing relationship advice and I may come back.

But my man, if you're gonna create these medical minute posts-- at least cite a source.

Deuces.

Perhaps "Get a Book" would be a nice accompaniment to "Get a Chick".

I seek out information on my own, something that was engrained in me at an early age. Walk into any room in my home and you will find at least a dozen books, as well my children and I frequent the library regularly. When I researched this subject I kept seeing black male this black male that - perhaps I would since I am a black woman, nevertheless, the stats were sobering.

As for my friend (the example I offered), he is 5'11, 175 lbs and is extremely athletic and has been that way all the 25 years that I've known him. Although a meater his diet has been halal his entire life and he doesn't eat junk food with the exceptions of chocolate covered raisins. I've never seen dude with a bag of chips or soda.

Prostate removal within a segment of otherwise healty, virile, young black men may look like health care and smell like health care but...

Perhaps a "stretch"...but I couldn't help but wonder, with all the "Black male" stats regarding prostate cancer and Nikki's story of how this seemingly healthy man had his prostate removed...

Is it something promoted in an effort to increase sterility in men, seeing that certain prostate cancer "treatments" pretty much guarantee sterility and impotence?

Yawn.

20 year trial shows prostate cancer test not worth having.

http://www.bmj.com/content/342/bmj.d1539.full.pdf

Conclusions- After 20 years of follow-up the rate of death from prostate cancer did not differ at all between men in the screening group and those in the control group. -BY ALL THE WHITE SOURCES AND MEDICAL CONTROL STUDIES YOU CAN GATHER. (i should charge you :).)

haitian chickie need white sources, therefore here is every source that you folks need.

DV -do your thing..2 years and nothing change. jeez.

Our people still arguing for the biggest criminals in the world ....so sad and even after they read the aforementioned the "formula" is so powerful they fear being wrong and having to change their paradigm more than they fear death. Amazing. but sad.
