I know what you mean Sista Nurse. I was always focused on wanting a boy before I had kids. Had two ... and then ... God really hooked me up.

Got a girl.

The girl thing caught me by surprise.

Unlike my sons, I didn't have my own upbringing to reference. (well, too a certain extent).

So it was more on the job training.

I've found that she and I get along better than anyone in the family.

Really seem to understand each other.

She knows how to manage me, but never takes advantage.

I notice my wife notice when my daughter and I display our natural rapport.

It seems like it pleases her and bothers her at the same time. (Very female quality)

Assuming they were the same age now, how do you think your relationship with a daughter would be different than your relationship with Bishop?

Would you all be closer? Are there conversations you would have you are not having with your son?

I must say that I've encountered as many women having very volatile relationships with their mothers as often as I've encountered women having healthy close relationships with their mothers.
