This hire says rebuilding not rings.
The only logic i can see from this is they think a) they're going to the Finals next season and b) they'll meet the Heat. If they have Brown that will give them an edge because he knows Bron so well. Weak argument but I can't find any other reason.
I'm not sure why they wouldn't go with a guy that would continue the current system since the team is older with an established formula.
