My Sweet Brotha Numsy,

Is it not true that most brothas would hold to high regard a woman who gives him the following:

1. Healthy Food
2. "Einstein"
3. Space

Imagine for a second that there are not 37 women bumpin Jill Scott right now waiting for you to say something magical. I mean, the books are a plus, but it ain't THAT complicated.

RGB! Sista O!

Prepare for a wife huh?

You right.

Men must prepare too.

Stay tuned.

lol ...

Cracks me up when cats change their names ... but can't change their writing style.

You can always tell "who's who" because dudes tell on themselves by revealing the same recurring issues.

You know. Negros sittin' around worried about what other people think of "DV" and calling shit they don't understand ... "intellectual".

lol

Anyway.

Read your post ... "Nate".

But I don't know what you are talking about.

What's your question?

What's your point?

What you want?

Nate The Great said...

What you want? Is that how you treat a guest? I know big egos bruise easily, so I'll play along:

What's most important can't be accessed through the mind. You gotta turn it off to get in touch. Wayyyy harder than reading books and coming up with theories. That's my point.

P.S. Grown men don't use "lol."

P.S.S. Turn down the Jill Scott.

hey fam...
i think using all resources available to make yourself a better woman/man is smart.

brother nate, i believe u are missing that point. although all the three things you stated are important to a man, there is more to it.

1. healthy food? i am 45 yo and most of my peers do not cook or go to select the food for their families.

2. "einstein"? i take it that you are referring to the skill/gift of fellatio? also a learned skill that is not universally applied to every man but instead performed best when tailored to "your" man.

3. space? if this is what satisfies a man he should remain single, take himself to good restaurants, and find a prostitute/whore to give him some average off the rack head...

be well,
tgn

and for the record..
i am single, take pride in preparing loving meals for those who have the pleasure of dining in my home, i have no problem altering my pattern of erotica to please the man that finds me...and once he does space will not be an issue..
thanks for allowing me to voice my take on this.
tgn

oh, and hey rbg and dv!

Sista Good Nurse,

I never take lightly the opinion of a well-spoken woman.

1. Healthy food? Yes, a few words that hint at a lot. It doesn't mean b**tch cook for me, but that the woman takes her well-being seriously. There is something sexy about a sista with a grocery basket full of fresh foods. With all the crap she could have picked up, it is a very intentional statement (among others) on how much she values herself. I love to cook, so don't need a 50s housewife.

2. "einstein"? Yes, I am referring to that. It's great <--with a woman who values herself--> it is a serious gesture of trust and vulnerability. Heartfelt Einstein is indescribable.

3. space? That's where we may differ in opinion, but it's cool. A woman that wants to spend literally 24/7 with you hints more toward possessiveness/distrust than genuine love/interest in my personal opinion. Let me do me, and I will return the favor. No handcuffs needed.

brother nate,

we are seeing eye to eye on all three points.

1. i take it that you are new to our family here..yes, i am referring to a woman who is able to make the very best choices at the market concerning the nutrition for her man..but, i also think it is incredibly sexy and empowering for a woman to cook for her man.

2. "einstein"...enough said.

3. i won't say we differ. i will say that there is no need for possessiveness nor distrust in a healthy relationship. a man will desire to spend time with the woman he loves and he will be able to sense when more time is needed. we always send non-verbal signals before verbal...

and i am not sure about the whole "let me do me" thing. when u commit to another u become one.

"1. healthy food? i am 45 yo and most of my peers do not cook or go to select the food for their families." SN

damn shame.

"3. we always send non-verbal signals before verbal..." SN

Ha! You aint lyin'!

Women got nonverbals like a muhphuggah.

My wife could give the State of The Union address ... without opening her mouth.

Helllll Noooooooo.

Nate aint married.

Married cats have neither the time nor the inclination to pick playfights with dudes.

LMAO. That's ya word?

I am whatever I want to be. That's the beauty of the web. Ain't that right, "blackest man on the internet?"

Happy Mother's Day ya'll! The celebration continues...
