By Tuesday morning, eight states had blizzard conditions, with Texas, Missouri and Oklahoma the hardest hit. There are warnings, watches and advisories in another 30 states.
Before it's over, the storm is expected to affect 100 million people in the U.S. over a 3,200-kilometre stretch from New Mexico to Maine.

The reason you put ice cubes in water: the ice cubes melt which makes the water cold. Same thing here. The polar ice cap melts and now the oceans and air are temporarily getting colder. Soon, however, there will be very little ice left at the poles and temps will go UP UP UP!

If it were 50 degrees in Chicago today ... it would be evidence of "Global Warming".
When it is freezing in Chicago, with 18 inches of snow on the ground ... it is STILL evidence of ... you guessed it ... "Global Warming".

You have to realize you are attempting to debate a moron. A moron cannot carry out his end of the debate. He'll only continue to spout ignorant and unprovable slogans and falsehoods. He has no deeper understand. Hell, he doesn't even have a basic understand. Really, he doesn't even have a foundation for understanding the basics.

Anyone who knows anything about global warming knows that worse winters is exactly what is predicted. (In fact, some theories believe that global warming actually leads to ice ages.) In any case, the logic is simple: over 90% of the increase heat (last year was the second hottest year on record, btw) affects the oceans, which as a consequence evaporate more moisture into the air thus creating gigantic winter storms. The problem isn't the increased temperatures (which are only going up by tiny amounts), the problem is the increased moisture. More moisture = more snow and ice. It doesn't take rocket scientist to figure this stuff out people . . . seriously.
You guys are acting like your 3rd grade science education is greater than what virtually every professional scientist is saying. Grow up, stop believing in voodoo, and get your heads out of your asses!

The issue is whether or not MAN is CAUSING the Earth to warm and whether or not MAN can do something to "Change The Temperature of The Earth".
There are a group of self-serving "scientists", corporations, banks, bureaucrats, NGO's, governments, globalists and NeoTechnocrats who say the warming trend detected by their "computer models" is CAUSED BY MAN.
They go on to say give them enough POWER and enough MONEY and they will FORCE MAN to stop heating the earth.
