Yeah, this shit happened out here on LI last week.... The fucked up thing about it, is when I was researching the incident for the post I was writing about it, half of the sources I found falsely reported that he had been charged with the weapons possession.

A Black man on LI a few years ago was convicted for killing a white boy who was threatening and fighting with his son on their property, and the man in this latest incident actually participated in rallies on his behalf. I hate this fucking island!

I know if someone who looked like my cousin (who LOVES to play with guns) had done this, the racist ass pigs would have smiled and congratulated him instead of handcuffing and arresting him!

Oh, and am I the only person who is wondering if there is a connection between the fact that this man rallied on behalf of the man who was convicted previously?? I really do not believe in coincidences.

AK-47 magazine holds, what? 30 rounds? Why waste 4 in the lawn, when there's 20+ guys especially when that weapon isn't known to be that accurate?

I agree he was protecting his home, no doubt. But his lawyer is wrong technically. Firing any weapon into the ground DOES endanger life, as the rounds can ricochet. Small point, but he'll lose that point in court.

I was taught every shot is a kill shot, and to hit what you are aiming at. The lesson here is to never fire "warning" shots.
