An interview with Osama bin Laden was published in a Karachi-based Pakistani daily newspaper, Ummat, on September 28, 2001. In this interview, bin Laden explicitly denies involvement in the September 11 attacks in the US:
"I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle.”

On June 5, 2006, reporter Ed Hass contacted the FBI Headquarters in Washington DC, to learn why Bin Laden’s Most Wanted poster did not indicate that Usama was also wanted in connection with 9/11.
He spoke with Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI. When asked why there is no mention of 9/11 on Bin Ladens Most Wanted web page, Tomb said, “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Ladens Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11.”

A video that was conveniently found after the U.S. invaded Iraq, the same way magically fire-proof passports of alleged hijackers were found, with not even a single burn mark near Ground Zero after the towers fell. It's bullshit, plain and simple--a set up.
Not to mention Osama publically denied involvement when the attacks occurred. Only in December 2001, after the date by which his obituary, published in the Arab world,indicated he had died of his known terminal kidney problems, does this supposed video show up. And it is patently not the same Osama of earlier videos.
Further, the 9/11 attack did not fit his M.O. All of the attacks that could be legitimately pinned on Osama--the U.S.S. Cole, for example, were done against military targets, which fits, since it was the U.S. military presence in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere that he Osama had a problem with. The interview in which he denies involvement is consistent with his M.O. as known during his lifetime. The supposed "video confession," not at all.
And as DV points out, 9/11 was never listed on his FBI wanted poster because there was simply no evidence whatsoever. Even though, within an hour of the attacks, Bush and Co. were already saying it was Osama's work (yet these are teh same officials who claim they had "no idea" any terrorist attack was forthcoming, even though Mossad, French Intelligence,Pakistani intelligence, everyone under the sun, even LaRouche's private intelligence network, for fuck's sake, knew it was coming at least since July of that same year and some of these outfits had already warned U.S. officials about it and/or published--the LaRouchers--warnings about it.)Cheney and Bush promised immediately after the attacks that evidence of Osama's involvement would be released shortly...but this never happened. They were just taken at their word and the MSM, ever the compliant Operation Mockingbird bitches they are, simply parrotted the administration li(n)e ad nauseum for the next decade. But yes, Osama "admitted" to the crime. Because in a video where he looks nothing like himself he "admits to it." And every video since then has either been pre-2001 footage of Osama bin Laden re-edited with dubious voice-overs or some different-looking Osama (well, them Arabs all look the same to the ignorant American public, so why not?), with little or no audio, but with the "explanation" of what is being said conveniently provided by the Mockingbird Stream Media or government officials.
