Blackest Kids In Hilton Head South Carolina

Invited my aunt to meet us in Hilton Head South Carolina this weekend. She said "No. I 'will not go anywhere where crackas still fly the confederate flag!'

Why you care about that Aunt Jo? What difference does it make? They've got nice beaches. I hear the water is warm. The boys and I are going to play golf every day. Come on and meet us. It's only 4 hours for you.

'No. Not as long as they fly that flag ... I am not setting foot in that state!'

But Aunt Jo ... why leave the crackas the best beaches?

...

She smiles.

I had a cousin who built a house in an all-white Southwest Louisiana enclave.
When his future neighbors noticed that it was he who would be living in the home and that he was not just the contractor - they all got together and paid him twice what he had planned to spend NOT to build there.
He took the money and built an even bigger house one street over.
IMOHO - Eff a flag.

What up DV?

I can't believe that you are going to be in Hilton Head. My family and I just did 2 weeks in July at Hilton Head...Palmetto Dunes.

Ok Bra, time to see what kind of game you got. I played Arthur Hills, George Fazio and Robert Trent. I won't tell you about the others :) but I shot a 82 from the Champions tee at George Fazio. Let me know your score if you play it:). I will spot you 5 strokes.

We always stay at Palmetto over the last ten years.

Good choice- nice spot for family and Kids, however the town shuts down before 10 and because of deed restrictions, its really dark at nights. No signage.

No Whole Foods, but we still got the good stuff from the

The Fresh Market
890 William Hilton Pkwy
Hilton Head Island, SC 29915
(843) 842-8332.

Have Fun! The kids will love it.

BTW, Best golf memory at HH -got paired up with the president of Airbus right after the crash of the Jet that left New York going to the DR.

Did not know what he did until half way thru the round when he opened up about the incident and said to hell with the American Cracker Media, the truth is that the pilot just had bad simulator training and did not know how to fly through the Jet wake made by a 747 and tore his plane up with a bad maneuver. Said he was catching 911 and TWA type hell. Vivid conversation for someone I met by chance especially for someone like me who designed part of the f-16 fighter simulator.

South Carolina ain't all bad DV- my daughter attends USC in Columbia and I know a lot of the politicians in Columbia and its not as bad as the media makes it out to be.

However, it is not the ATL. :)

that is funny. my parents RV all over the country and love the south. my mother decided one year while riding through SC to buy her own confederate flag and wave it out the car window every time she came in contact with the CAC's (cracker ass crackers)!
when she told me she did this I was falling on the floor laughing...i bet the look on the CAC's faces was priceless as my mamma took their power.....

Bra Waaaaaaaaax!

No Shiiiiiii?

You were just in HH? Damn. We could have hooked up.

Bra, we stayed at Palmetto Dunes.

Beautiful spot. Had bikes waiting for us. Even a little pink one for my daughter. Kids jumped on the rides and were gone as soon as we got there. Had a kitchen. Wife found Fresh Market after we got settled.

Man, the boys and I played Arthur Hills that first evening. Teed off 'bout 6:30 Got 9 holes in.

You shot an 82? Niiiiiiice.

Now. I aint gonna lie. I shot a 45 on 9. BUT ... I was refereeing those two cats. Caddying. Looking for their balls. Watching out for alligators. Teaching cats not to reverse pivot. lol. You know how it is with kids.

Played Fazio before they punched the greens and then went into town and played some course called Rose Hill. Not bad for $60. Juniors play free.

I didn't know you played like that Wax. We going to have to set something up. Have a little showdown.

Daughter at U of SC? How she like it? I've been reading up on the history of Hilton Head. That's special piece of land. Used to belong to brothers.

I saw one other black family the whole weekend. Damn near stopped the car and hugged them.

Mexican workers were in full effect, diligently tending the landscape and making beds.

Brother Law! You out there?

Where my other golfers at?

We might have to set up the First Annual Denmark Vesey Invitational Blackest Cats On The Course Golf Tournament.

Sista Nurse!

lol. I like your moms.

That's my whole thing.

Fuuuug a racist.

That shit only has as much power as you give it.

(Which is why I am convinced the NAACP is a double-agent organization)

They claim their objective is to "advance" "colored" people ... but everything they do, stand for, and say ... sets colored people back.

LMAO @TGN. Love that story!

@ Sasha!
Girl, my mother is incredibly funny and smart...she knows that getting angry and crying "the doin' this cause I'm Black" is not the answer.
she always taught us to beat them at their own game....
she says that flag is just a piece of fabric and it in itself holds no power or authority...

Unrelated: Transgender 'Rapper'. Unbelievable!

Yeah Andre 3000 rocked a confederate beltbuckle a few times. Funnily enough years before that I walked through a birmingham mall and had a strange inclination to rock a confederate jacket, I was only about 14 at the time and even at that age I knew I'd be making a statement such as the one your mother made. Matter of fact Ive got an Idea.

DV Florida has a huge confederate battle flag flying as you cross the state line from GA to FLA on I75 South. Most folk forget they created the BATTLE FLAG, because the flag of the confederate was too close to the Union flag in scheme and colors. In fact the Union flag flew over plantations until the battles began.

Also, almost all the land of the Sea Coast from North Carolina down to Florida was owned by Originals (black people). There is a quiet, but huge fight going on in GA now for the Sea Coast Islands. Originals are refusing to sell to the big plantations, I mean corporations...
