Birdman Is The Blackest Man On The Planet - Buys $2 Million Bugatti Veryon - Hustle Hard
When F. Scott Fitzgerald painted literary canvasses with the pigments of hedonism, excess and self-aggrandizement and when he created the character Gatsby to bring those memes to life, Plantation schools taught Plantation Negros and Crackas to think of the work as a classic. It was presented as art.
Yet, a contemporary artist and entrepreneur like Baby Williams garners scorn and condemnation when he borrows similar memes to paint literary canvasses with his ideas embodied by the character Birdman.
Plantation Negros high and low called Birdman "stupid", "typical" and "destined to go broke". When in reality this artist is leveraging an ingenious combination of memes that attract the most rare of commodities these days: attention.
He's making millions of dollars modeling a fantasy many people are willing to pay money to substitute for their own reality.
He's making millions of dollars modeling a fantasy many people are willing to pay money to substitute for their own reality.
Interesting enough, Birdman leverages his intellectual energy and creativity to make himself rich while the so-called educated pontificators, predicting the brother's financial demise, punch clocks, fight foreclosure and worry about layoffs.
Hustle Hard.

"Mind your wants because someone wants your mind" - George Clinton
It's his money, if he wants a Bugatti more power to him.
A few questions first:
1. What is the lifespan of a rap or pro-athlete career?
Not very long. Musical tastes are fleeting, and knees get hurt. It's a get as much now kind of thing...alot of these guys don't think long term.
To Birdman's credit he's been in the industry for close to 20 years as a performer and business owner (still not sure about that oil company thing, but if it's true--even better he's learned the lesson of diversification). He seems to have a long-term vision.
2. Has he gotten his finances in order for the long term to build an empire?
I hope so. $2.1 million is alot of money for a toy...and before anyone says he could have spent that money better...sure he could have spread the wealth, invested it to make his money grow bigger, opened a charity, etc., but it's his choice. I hope he's looking to have Oprah money.
3. Why buy a $2.1 million Bugatti?
It might actually be an investment tool. Imagine taking out a new upcoming rapper to a business lunch in that whip?
Money...money... monay... people will lie...cheat... sell their very souls...what about buying car dealerships and getting that car which is devalued as we speak..money making does not justify acts of financial stupidity..hope he is not carjacked....
"A fascination with luxury cars has been another big thing for many blacks. Blacks know all the designer names(Champagne tastes with Budweiser pockets). So on a psychological level expensive cars represent fulfillable dreams. Next to homes, cars are the most expensive items (thanks to available credit) we can own. Does it represent a phallic symbol for the black male? You can't park a home in front of a church or nightclub. He will get big ups when he rides thru the hood telling the next young rapper wanna be that all you have to do is degrade black women, promote dope, and violence against your brother and you can get a bughatti too!
One thing that car does what he most likely intended was "Damn, I knew Birdman had money but I didn't know he was up there with Jay-Z and 'em."
Hollywood not at your doorstep to pay you 2 mill to do a soundtrack, then you pay 2 mill to an advertisement firm on four wheels to promote your own soundtrack.
