Mercola Strikes Back! Click here.

His attempt to "educate" the people who see Plantation Doctors.

Is his numbers wrong?

Which ones?

Ever wonder why he's on YouTube, and not say at the American College of Surgeons Meeting? Other than the fact that he'd be crucified and sent from the room in red faced, embarrassed, and in tears.

Nobody is going to waste their breath on this guy, because he has no data, and continually prints spurious claims that he'll merely retract rather than debate.

Let me ask you something. Why would you believe claims broadcast on a self publishing video website, without oversight for content?

Mercola and the like can say anything they want, with few repercussions. He doesn't need statistics, or studies proving him correct. Nothing.

I don't really care. Most physicians don't care what he has to say. If you come into my office waving around a bunch of Mercola stuff, I'm going to calmly state the facts, and your options. If you choose to walk out the door for a second opinion or alternative options, I'll reiterate the consequences to make sure you understand, but I'm certainly not going to bar the door, or beg you to stay, if you are an adult.

My Grandfather the Pastor was famous for quoting Matthew 10:14. Sort of his way of saying step off...

Why are you so devoted to Mercola?

"Mercola and the like can say anything they want, with few repercussions." DMG

Pfizer and Merk and the FDA can say anything they want, with few repercussions.

(H1N1 "Pandemic" anybody? Billion$ of wasted vaccines rot in warehouses as we speak. Who got those profits Doc?)

"I don't really care." DMG

Of course not.

You remind us that you "don't care" every 3 or 4 posts.

"I'm going to calmly state the facts, and your options." DMG

What facts exactly are you going to state Doc?

The facts Mercola just stated are produced by the very Plantation medical system you defend as if your life depended on it. (I guess in a way it does)

The facts in the video ARE ALL FROM THE Journal of the American Medical Association, Harvard University, Centers for Disease Control, British medical journal The Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine and national news (New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, US World Report.

Doc.

You. Don't. Make. Sense.

MOTI,

"The facts in the video ARE ALL FROM THE Journal of the American Medical Association, Harvard University, Centers for Disease Control, British medical journal The Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine and national news (New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, US World Report."

Taken out of context.

That's what you meant to put at the end of that sentence, right? Of course, it's just a typo, an oversight that you forgot. Because your sentence makes no sense without it.

Come on now. Stop acting like the pouting soft hand bitch we all know you are.

Just once would I like you to actually attempt to refute anything I've said. No, no, no...I don't mean with the usual tricks you employ...the answering a question with a question, proclaiming something valid because YOU said so. No, what I mean is take what I've said point for point. Provide evidence that I'm wrong. On any subject. I'll let you pick

What you say? You can't do that?

Of course you can't.

Of course you can't. It's alright, I'm here...let it out. Sometimes you need a good cry, right?

Because he's a memetic cripple, period.

Denmark Vesey said...

"Every year, 7.5 million unnecessary medical and surgical procedures are performed."

How is that out of context.

No.

Better yet.

Put that in its correct context for us Doc.

"Most side effects are instead mistaken for new disease symptoms, leading to further drugging and unnecessary medical procedures, increasing the risk of death even further."

What ... pray tell ... is the "proper context" of that?

"The mortality rate for people between the ages of 45 and 64, who took their prescription drugs CORRECTLY, rose 90% in just five years."

Make us feel OK about that Doc.

Doc.

I know you would rather attack Mercola the person than to defend the Epic Failure of allopathy.

But you cats are killing more people than you heal.

How long do you think you can keep doing business as usual?

How long do you think you can scare people into considering you the ONLY source for health advice?

Denmark Vesey said...

"Because he's a memetic cripple, period." CNu

CNu, how's the 2,000 Watt Per Person meme of yours coming along?

Imagine what Mercola could do with that.

CNu said...

swimmingly...,

I suspect you'll be picking up its initial large scale ripples late this summer.

Mercola otoh is memetic cripple whose appeal is limited to the fearful and ignorant easily duped into believing that they can prolong their pathetic leg-humping lives by controlling the composition and regularity of their bowel movements.

CNu said...

oh yeah.., those who know and those who can will obtain autogenic or possibly even transgenic refreshment therapy.

that's the shape of things to come within my lifetime. why you think they been making and proliferating that vampire meme so steadily for the past decade?

sheeeiiiiitttt......, I called that one three years ago....,

Denmark Vesey said...

"by controlling the composition and regularity of their bowel movements."

True ...

True ...

Wish Mercola had "duped" our boy UBM before he his irregular bowl movements caused him to drop dead at 48.

Imagine if he had been seeing a Dr. Mercola instead of a Dr. DMG.

CNu said...

the undisputed queen bee strikes again...,

accept no substitutes.

DMG said...

MOTI,

OK, you are out of line. Don't think you can use UBM's death to push one of your asinine points. That's even low for you.

CNu said...

Doc,

If you're amenable to suffering a possible abrupt paradigm shift, I strongly recommend you read this.

It's kind of disappointing how far behind the theoretical and applied curve even technical specialists in the field are due to ideology, or what Dr. Margulis refers to as "scientific apartheid".

DMG said...

MOTI,

Your whole post is out of context. You don't even know what your quotes are referencing. Some seem to be lifted from a Gary Null book. Other parts of your post is just gibberish.

You say the same old shit every single time. You don't like medicine...we get it. But you don't have to sit there and make shit up. You aren't profound. You aren't a luminary. You really aren't much of anything. Sure you can rhyme a little bit, and I'm sure in some circles that buys you alot of credit. You are a king in a cyber fiefdom. You elevate the simpletons and the vulgar...and they pay you back with unearned loyalty.

MOTI, I could more successfully argue YOUR point for you. The thing is there are parts of medicine that don't work. But instead of figuring that out and putting forth a real argument, you spend your time on the low hanging (albeit plastic) fruit...and you even get that wrong.

It's in your best interest to denigrate medicine, and science. You are undone by them. Your whole spiel unravels quickly. Most physicians wouldn't waste their time here. But everybody needs a hobby. Debunking bullshit happens to be one of mine.

You hate me because I peeped your hustle within the first 5 minutes of logging on. I've seen the look before sitting on the train in Chicago, when I loudly pointed out the Three Card Monty hustle to my son and his friends and pointed out the main hustler, his assistant, and the two cats standing by each door. He shot me the same dirty look you are probably making right now.

You've been found out. And I know that you know I've found you out.

CNu, nah, not in the market for any new books right now. Tell me what she means by scientific apartheid.

Denmark Vesey said...

Wrong.

Again.

D. If it wasn't for you, I would have stopped blogging long ago.

Now.

Hate to drag you out of your comfort zone.

But back to the "what".

And later for the "who."

"Every year, 7.5 million unnecessary medical and surgical procedures are performed."

"The mortality rate for people between the ages of 45 and 64, who took their prescription drugs CORRECTLY, rose 90% in just five years."

That's from Plantation SOURCES Doc.

The medical industry has about as much credibility right now as the mortgage industry.

Thordaddy said...

Craig,

You seeking the singularity?

DMG said...

MOTI,

Why would you think you were dragging me anywhere? You are the one with all of the pretend definitions. You are the one without a foundation in science or medicine. I'm quite comfortable thank you.

You really are persistent, even after I pulled the curtain back.

Go back and pull the original article, and see how "procedure" is defined. Unnecessary as deemed by whom? Then see if your numbers are valid.

By the way, why don't you drop those quotes into Google and see what comes up.

Please cite the "plantation" sources...precisely. That should keep you busy. Then we can talk about context.

DMG said...

Find your source yet? I have.

DMG said...

Let me help you out.

Just tell me how this number is derived, and from when.

MSG Use Linked To Obesity

ScienceDaily (Aug. 14, 2008) —

People who use monosodium glutamate, or MSG, as a flavor enhancer in their food are more likely than people who don't use it to be overweight or obese even though they have the same amount of physical activity and total calorie intake, according to a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Public Health study published this month in the journal Obesity.

Researchers at UNC and in China studied more than 750 Chinese men and women, aged between 40 and 59, in three rural villages in north and south China.

The majority of study participants prepared their meals at home without commercially processed foods. About 82 percent of the participants used MSG in their food. Those users were divided into three groups, based on the amount of MSG they used.

The third who used the most MSG were nearly three times more likely to be overweight than non-users.

The third who used the most MSG were nearly three times more likely to be overweight than non-users.

"Animal studies have indicated for years that MSG might be associated with weight gain," said Ka He, M.D., assistant professor of nutrition and epidemiology at the UNC School of Public Health. "Ours is the first study to show a link between MSG use and weight in humans."

Because MSG is used as a flavor enhancer in many processed foods, studying its potential effect on humans has been difficult. He and his colleagues chose study participants living in rural Chinese villages because they used very little commercially processed food, but many regularly used MSG in food preparation.

"We found that prevalence of overweight was significantly higher in MSG users than in non-users," He said. "We saw this risk even when we controlled for physical activity, total calorie intake and other possible explanations for the difference in body mass. The positive associations between MSG intake and overweight were consistent with data from animal studies."

As the percentage of overweight and obese people around the world continues to increase, He said, finding clues to the cause could be very important.

"The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and other health organizations around the world have concluded that MSG is safe," He said, "but the question remains – is it healthy?"

Co-authors on the study included Liancheng Zhao and colleagues from Fu Wai Hospital and Cardiovascular Institute at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in Beijing. Other researchers on this study were from Northwestern University in Chicago and the INTERMAP Cooperative Research Group.

Yeah knucklehead, I already addressed this paper. Nice try, I even left you a LINK to the ORIGINAL ARTICLE. But you aren't able to read or pay attention.

You find the source of those numbers yet?

Wow! Let the dead rest, lest it be a curse upon you.

UBM had a brain aneurysm, nothing to do with "bowel movements". Please go back and read Sub's comment that I posted. And can this please be the last time this UBM's death is mentioned in this way, honour your friend.

Big Man said...

Nah, KW, that ain't gonna happen.

UBM is the perfect foil for DV's health food meme given his aggressive comments about loving scrapple and other sundry items.

UBM regularly laughed at DV's attempts to critque his diet and traditional medicine, thus DV will continue to use his death as proof that DV was right and UBM was wrong.

DV ain't gonna abandon that vein no matter how unseemly it appears. Way too much gold there.
