Don't wish man. GO if you haven't! Travel, especially while you are young.

One of the best things I ever did, was travel abroad hopping trains, meeting people learning about culture when I was younger. Came back with almost no pictures of buildings, but had an address book full of contact info. Life changing experience. Plan to send my son and his two cousins, when the youngest turns 18.

How old is your dad? Been trying to get mine to go for awhile.

Your Pops went to Egypt again? That's cool. I hope I get the chance to go again someday.

Yea travelling's gr8, it's neccessary for everyone regardless of age. It gives such a sense of freedom and independence. I'm sure your son and his cousins will enjoy it, DMG.

Travelling and living elsewhere is an essential detachment from one's constructed worldview i.e learning there are other ways of being in the world and seeing the world.
