Advanced Realign Plantation Negro Paradigm 003 - Spring Semester 2010 - Professor Gee Chee - DV University

When I questioned, “Was Marcus Garvey ALLOWED to function in his early years,” the keyboard went silent.-MB

That ain't the absence of key pecks you're not hearing, it's the absence of henpecked liberation you ain't trying to hear.

2. Prevent the RISE OF A "MESSIAH" who could unify, and electrify, the militant black nationalist movement. Malcolm X might have been such a "messiah;" he is the martyr of the movement today. Martin Luther King, Stokely Carmichael and Elijah Muhammed all aspire to this position. Elijah Muhammed is less of a threat because of his age. King could be a very real contender for this position SHOULD HE ABANDON his supposed "OBEDIENCE" to "WHITE LIBERAL DOCTRINES" (nonviolence) and embrace black nationalism. Carmichael has the necessary charisma to be a real threat in this way.
-F.B.I. memorandum, March 4, 1968

An obvious distinction.

F.B.I. memorandum, March 4, 1968. Note the date of that memorandum. It’s exactly one month before Dr. King was assassinated.

The fact that Dr. King’s name appears in this section of COINTELPRO titled “Black Nationalist Hate Groups” is a testimony to the diverse threat he posed in the minds of FBI psychopaths.

GC, if at some point you are able to get past fragmentation, you may learn the art of holistic analysis. If you’re going to quote from COINTELPRO, why not give us the FBI’s total perspective on Martin L. King, Jr.

[The FBI kept close watch on Dr. King and the SCLC long before opening its formal investigation. FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover reacted to the formation of the SCLC in 1957 by reminding agents in the field of the need for vigilance:

“In the absence of any indication that the Communist Party has attempted, or is attempting, to infiltrate this organization you should conduct no investigation in this matter. However, in view of the stated purpose of the organization, you should remain alert for public source information concerning it in connection with the racial situation.”

In May 1962 the FBI had included Dr. King on "Section A of the Reserve Index" as a person to be rounded up and detained in the event of a "national emergency." During this same period the FBI ordered its field offices to review their files for "subversive" information about Dr. King and to submit that information to FBI headquarters in reports "suitable for dissemination."]—Church Committee

GC/DV, I wonder why “a glorified employee,” under the control of white liberals would command such attention from the FBI?

“He who lives with untruth lives in spiritual slavery.”

Nice try Mak B.

But an epic fail.

1) You ignored the Orange Polka Dot Elephant sitting crossed legged on that Lazy-boy in your living room:

"King could be a very real contender for this position SHOULD HE ABANDON his supposed "OBEDIENCE" to "WHITE LIBERAL DOCTRINES"

2) If J. Egar Hoover and the Federal Bureau of Investigation armed with all of the resources of the United States Government ... "kept close watch" on Dr. King and the Jewish financed Southern "Christian" Leadership conference beginning 1957 ... yet King was allowed to organize bus boycotts in Selma, win Nobel Peace Prizes in Oslo and March on Washington DC complete with government permission and the protection of Federal Marshals ... what greater evidence of being "ALLOWED" to operate is there than that?

It's no secret the FBI had tape recordings of MLK in compromising positions.

Why not release them?

The so-called "Civil Rights Movement" was a useful tool for the "enemies of Human liberation" who were leading the American people into the Patriot Act booby trap we have today.

MB, the FBI kept close watch on Louis Armstrong. After all his "Cabin in the Sky'ness."

If you’re going to quote from COINTELPRO, why not give us the FBI’s total perspective on Martin L. King, Jr.-MB

Like the meeting FBI agents had with Roy Wilkins in which they related threats from Hoover to expose King as a "sexual degenerate." The agent told Wilkins that Hoover DID NOT WANT TO DESTROY the entire civil rights movement, but that the FBI, "deeply and bitterly resented lies and falsehoods told by King." The same Hoover that was having Panthers gunned down in their bedrooms.

That

FBI

total perspective

is what you're referring to?

Dood, you’re in desperate need of a history lesson. Roy Wilkins met with Cartha DeLoach in November 1964. There was no Black Panther Party at that time. And DV calls you Professor Gee Chee (ROTFLMBAO). It’s gotta be a tough assignment being DV’s alter ego.

It's no secret the FBI had tape recordings of MLK in compromising positions. Why not release them?—DV

Why don’t ask your kindergarten professor—the COINTELPRO expert (LOL). Hoover desperately tried to find a credible source in the MSM to print his propaganda. They were all afraid to touch it, and most of them knew that Hoover was a degenerate himself.

[The FBI's program to destroy Dr. King as the leader of the civil rights movement entailed attempts to discredit him with churches, universities, and the press… Attempts were made to prevent the publication of articles favorable to Dr. King and to find "friendly" news sources that would print unfavorable articles. The FBI offered to play for reporters tape recordings allegedly made from microphone surveillance of Dr. King's hotel rooms.] – Church Committee

Whereas Hoover may have failed to get the “sex tapes” widely publicized, he succeeded with his ultimate mission—the neutralization of “national security threat” Martin Luther King, Jr.

[On March 29, 1968, the Domestic Intelligence Division recommended that the following article be furnished to a cooperative news source:

Martin Luther King, during the sanitation workers' strike in Memphis, Tennessee, has urged Negroes to boycott downtown white merchants to achieve Negro demands. On 3/29/68 King led a march for the sanitation workers. Like Judas leading lambs to slaughter King led the marchers to violence, and when the violence broke out, King disappeared.
The fine Hotel Lorraine in Memphis is owned and patronized exclusively by Negroes but King didn't go there for his hasty exit. Instead King decided the plush Holiday Inn Motel, white owned, operated and almost exclusively patronized, was the place to "cool it." There will be no boycott of white merchants for King, only for his followers.

On April 4, Dr. King returned to Memphis. This time he registered at the Lorraine Hotel.]—Church Committee (MLK actually returned on April 3, 1968--MB)

William Pepper points out that Dr. King was highly sensitive to the FBI planted criticism and cancelled his return trip reservations at the Holiday Inn. Dr. King was reserved a first floor room at the Lorraine. A mysterious “SCLC” representative requested that Dr. King be moved to a second floor balcony room overseeing the swimming pool. The desk clerk noted to the “representative” that it was April in Memphis and the swimming pool was closed, but she proceeded with the transfer. No one knows who this “SCLC” representative was, but the room change was obviously designed to set up Dr. King to be visible from the various sniper nests already established. We all know the rest of the story.

[Thus, it is no surprise that when the news came through over the radio that King had been killed in Memphis on April 4th, 1968 there were jubilant cries of "They got the SOB!'' that reverberated through the Atlanta FBI office. One former FBI agent recalled another agent shouting "We finally got the son of a bitch!'' (Curt Gentry, J. Edgar Hoover: The Man and the Secrets, 1991, p. 606; Anthony Summers, Official and Confidential: The Secret Life of J. Edgar Hoover, 1993, p. 364).] -- Seán Mac Mathúna

Come on Mak.

I'm trying to take you seriously here.

J. Edgar Hoover had tape recordings of MLK screwing white prostitutes ...
but
he
couldn't
get
anyone
in
the
"mainstream media"
to
publish
it ...

I'm looking at my computer screen like you crazy bra.

Why would Hoover or anyone else wish to destroy a black leader preaching Nonviolence & Integration?

Why have that vacuum filled with Elijah Mohammad's and Garvey's building black institutions, farms, stores, apartment buildings, shipping companies and black schools?

Nah.

"We Shall Ovuh Cum" is much more manageable than a nation of self sufficient black people spending their dollars with each other.

MB...I have to admit...you are swift. I thought I could pull a fast one on you. You are the first person that my "Panther Party at the same time as King" gag didn't work on. Nobody can tell Gee-Chee that Makheru Bradley doesn't know his history.

What, are you the Dr. Maulana Karenga version of Milton Bradley? Stop playing games.

I'm trying to respect your ideas. When you start on that pretend stuff you make the thread silly MB.

If you are intelligent enough to understand that the comparisons of Garvey's ideas and King's ideas are no indicators suggesting that they were contemporaries, I know you know better than to think I suggested the Panthers were King's contemporaries.

I know you know better. But you wanted to do a lil tease thing cause you running out of steam. Word. I like to tease DMG a bits. Like to see him go off from time to time so I feel you on that.

It’s gotta be a tough assignment being DV’s alter ego.-MB

Uh oh, we back in Milton Bradley mode again. What you call this one, Kwanzaa Yahtzee?

Blah, blah, blah 3/29/68 King blah, blah, blah returned to Memphis blah blah blah FBI blah Holiday Day Inn blah blah blahness-MB

King was no coward MB. We understand that MB. Did I say "we", I meant "me." Surely I didn't mean to imply I have an alter-ego. Anyway...

King was extraordinary. I hope I'm never tested as King was. But there is a saying, some more or some less:

"That's not the dust of change rising, it's the dust of sameness settling."

The Panthers weren't stupid, they just didn't know what the hell a COINTEL Pro was. They only saw as far as the local police. They had no idea things were orchestrated to the level that it was. The same for King. He didn't fully encompass the gravity of the situation. People were thinking that America was about to fall. It took me years to understand Malcolm saying that America is a powder keg until I learned about all of the rebellions and protest taking place all over. Everybody was ready to die for something. A movement was needed to stop that. America was afraid MB. Negroes weren't. Be it Negroes in Civil Rights, Garveys, NOIs, whoever. So a movement was needed to channel that destructive tendencies. You couldn't stop it, so control it. Couldn't stop rap, so control it. This is the crux of what's being argued MB. Civil Rights was that tool. MLK is not some guerrilla psychological strategist. He was a victim played.

"Hoover DID NOT WANT TO DESTROY the entire Civil Rights movement" MB. Either King won over his heart or Hoover earned his pay.

See, this is the popular myth but it ignores reality.

The NOI and Garvey's group had noble ideals but horrible execution. They were both rife with hypocrisy and corruption.

More over, the NOI's plan for "separation" depending largely on the largess of white folks here in America. As I said on the other thread a while back we have historical proof that white folks responded with violence whenever black people pooled their economic resources and attempted to improve their collective lot.

This ain't just something I made up, we all know the names of the cities and towns DESTROYED by white folks because they thought the niggers there were uppity.

Hell, didn't William Rhoden discuss the common practice in historical America of white folks "cleansing" their towns of all black folks just because they were tired of living around them.

How much money would have been enough for the NOI to operate in America? How much land would have kept them safe?

I seriously want to know. Personally, I support the idea of supporting black businesses and institutions. I support the idea of not being dependent on white folks.

But, I don't support the fantasy that create a separate black Disneyland in America was feasible. And that was at the core of the NOI's movement, and was a part of Garvey's.

(I know Garvey wanted black folks to return to Africa, thereby giving up their claim to redress in America, and began efforts to establish a power base in Africa. I'm doubtful about the ability of Garvey and other blacks of his ilk to truly deal with Africans on an equal plane given the fiasco that was Liberia. It seems that Garvey was infected with the white man's sickness from some of his comments, and I think it was quite likely some of those ideas would have poisoned his attempts to built up power in Africa. It sounds great in theory but it ignores what really happened.)

The issue is not the identity of the message carrier ... it's the efficacy of the message.

That's what CNu was loath to admit.

Just because a man stumbles, it does not mean he is not on the right road.

Come on.

Pretend it's football.

Black people got the ball on their own 2 yard line.

They are down by 4 points.

It is 4th & 20.

The clock has 28 seconds on it.

The "Civil Rights Leaders" call a play: KICK A FIELD GOAL (legislate your way to equality)

Marcus Garvey and the NOI call a play: The Hail Mary (Carefully define yourself, select effective memes, build and own businesses)

We can sit and focus on the negatives of any play.

But at the end of the day you gotta pick one.

Now that the clock has ticked out Big Man.

Which coaches deserve the harshest criticism?

Garvey and the NOI or the "Civil Rights Leaders" financed by Jewish attorneys?

Gee, I contend that you and DV have not even begun to understand the full scope of our Esteemed Ancestor, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Both of you are mentally incarcerated by the imprisoned images of Dr. King being projected and propagandized by the mainstream media in service of America’s oligarchic psychopathocracy.

[O]ne cannot hope to keep people locked out of the earthly kingdom of wealth, health, and happiness. Either they share in the blessings of the world or they organize to break down and overthrow those structures of governments which stand in the way of their goals.—Martin L. King, Jr.

America is deeply racist and its democracy is flawed both economically and socially. The black revolution much more than a struggle for the rights of Negroes. It is forcing America to face all its interrelated flaws - racism, poverty, militarism and materialism. It is exposing evils that are rooted deeply in the whole structure of society. It reveals systemic rather than superficial flaws and suggests that radical reconstruction of society itself is the real issue to be faced. - Martin Luther King, Jr., "A Testament of Hope"
