Apparently the labyrinthine and complex machinations comprising the real economy seem to defy such overly simplistic reductionism.

There may be a few centuries in the history of the world which were not about commerce, but certainly the past two millennia have been for the purpose of enslaving the masses for the profits and lifestyles of the global elite. Yes, I did click it and play it. I am not sure how realistic those scenarios are! Nevertheless, I don't know if you've been out here but almost all the farming irrigation is from the aqueduct system. In particular we get water also from the HechHecchie reservoir. I know that the federal government cut off water to the farmers sometime last year, but I don't know the consequences of that quite yet from a consumer standpoint.
