My Definition of A Sista

Jasmine said ...

Hey DV,

I've been checking into your blog for a minute and must say you are one challenging m**F**. I've found some jewels in your post and as one who was obese (size 24, seven months ago) to someone who is fat (size 16,currently and still losing) I can say that what/how you eat vs. what you actually use to maintain your lifestyle factors into obesity. I eat foods that feed my activities for the day. No matter what, I have spinach based salads for lunch everyday but if I'm working out and training in muay thai, then I eat more fish and beans. I have my lazy Sundays where all I do is go to church, take a nap, and take my grandma shopping. Lazy days require only one meal and lots of water. Its not dieting, its just me listening to what my body NEEDS not WANTS.
Being obese is the same as being sick. The cure is within.

Thank you for sharing your story Jasmine.

Sounds like you have a very positive attitude towards food and you're doing the right thing. Well done on what you have lost thus far, keep going you will get to your target!
