Not when that "protein" causes men to grow titties.
The Factory Meat Corporations can "grow" a cloned chicken twice as large in half as many days as they did a few decades ago. The breast of the chickens have been engineered to be twice as large as normal. These mutated chickens are so fat and big that neither their internal organs nor their bones can keep up... The same can be said about the people who eat them.

@ DMG - DV is "Old School School" where the students are the teachers.
Everyone contributes their take from their perspective.
DeeVee just leads in one direction or another.
You being an MD add to the studies from that point of view.
Everyone is here to learn and no one (well, not many) assumes to know everything.
Most of the people here have a little more than average, have accomplished more than average, and think a little more than average.
No one is so insecure as to assume that they are the master and that everyone else is the student.
I doubt that many grew up being teased about being too fat, too short, too Black (or whatever) and then come here to act as an intellectual bully to try to prove that they are now one of the cool kids.
If we are wrong - correct us.
It really ain't that serious.
Sure, sometimes DeeVee seems to use a Regula Falsi method in his approach but by the end of a thread everyone is corrected.
But I have a question.
Does the stress added from worrying so much about ones diet cause some problems to occur in their gut?
Does being so worried cause some to fail to matabolize nutrients?
Should we really just "Eat. drink and be Merry"?

@ the person who said that DV is getting all Kevin Trudeau up in here.....
Just got this :) today via email from Kevin himself:
"Good morning Wax!
Question of the day...
How come you don't talk about calories, fats, protein, or carbohydrates?
Everyone talks about calories, fats, protein, carbohydrates, sodium, and things of this nature. The fact of the matter is they are important, but not very important when compared to the chemicals and poisons put into the food. If you get your food here like me, you don't have anything to worry about.
What is more important than calories or fats and carbohydrates is the chemical fertilizers used in the food, the pesticides used in the food, the fact that the food is picked early and then gassed, the fact that the food is genetically modified and manufactured in an unnatural way, the processing methods that are used, the irradiation that was used, the actual thousands of chemicals that are put in processed food to make it taste better and give it certain textures, preserve it, or specifically designed to get you chemically and physically addicted to the food, increase your appetite and make you fat.
This is what is more important than the amount of calories, or the amount of fat, or the amount of carbohydrates. That's what everyone is missing.
Yours in Health,
KT "
Who synchronized my email to this subject? :)
Bra Waaaax!
"What is more important than calories or fats and carbohydrates is the chemical fertilizers used in the food, the pesticides used in the food..." KT
That's good stuff man.
But let's be real here:
You know this.
I know this.
We all "know" this.
The challenge before our people is not "knowing".
It is doing something different.
Taking responsibility for our diets is deeper than food and nutrition.
I submit that what one chooses to eat and what one refuses to eat is an act of freedom.
Pointing out the dangers of factory meat and GMO to black people will get their attention, inform some, piss most off ... but change very few eating habits.
Why?
Most people don't want to be free.
Encouraging people to embrace their freedom is a more effective strategy than encouraging them to avoid toxic food.
People who blindly place factory "food" in their mouths, trusting the Plantation to decide what is safe ... are by definition ... Plantation Negros.
Just as much slaves as dogs who eat whatever their master puts in the bowl he places before them.
Particularly when those around them who eat the same factory food products are dropping dead like flies.
At a certain point it becomes analogous to sheep stampeding off of a cliff.
Allowing the discourse to be reduced to meat vs no meat & protein v carbs misses the point.
The factories have made it quite clear. They are not in the business of supplying chickens and pigs and cows - they don't even call it that anymore.
Now they want us to just think of their product as "food".
When in fact their product is chemicals, feces and urine.
When Plantation MD's scare Plantation Negros with the latest Microbial Boogeyman ... Plantation Negros obediently roll up their sleeves and allow themselves to be injected with whatever cocktail of neurotixins and adjuvants the Pharmaceutical companies are pushing at that time.
So ... nah Wax.
This is 10% about food 90% about Freedom.
"are u a free people living bound lives?"
tgn
Hey Sista Nurse.
That's one hell of a question.
...That depends on what free means. And free on whose terms?
Being politically free is not the same as being physically free neither is either synonymous with being mentally free nor is one type of free a guarantee of complete freedom.
Who is 'free' between Mumia Abu Jamal and Oprah Winfrey? Or none?
Is an organic eating anti-abortion pacifist 'free' yet they still pay for food and pay taxes that fund GMO and hydro farmers and indirectly fund wars they want no part of and help govt fund abortion clinics? Is a freegan an ideal example of a 'free' person within a Western capitalist society?
IMO being free is better left as a question than an assumption that one is free by virtue of what they believe or what they do. It's important to continually and critically interrogate whether one is free because there will always be something that implicitly or explicitly threatens freedom.
One can never get too comfortable.
"whom the son sets free is free indeed"
the good book
kw,
i suppose we all have struggled at one time or another to define freedom.
i say it is not a definition, but a state of mind.
amistad was free even while shackled.
mandella was free even while imprisoned.
Jesus the Christ was free even while crucified.
my freedom is not predicated on what others see but on my mind state....
i am free and refuse to live a bound life.
tgn
True, true Sista Nurse.
...So does that mean there is no such thing as a Plantation N- if everyone were to believe they were free; regardless of whether they bow down to the Plantation or not?
...And is someone is free as long as they think of themselves as free even with a bucket of KFC in their laps every night?
...If that is so, why is DV trying to get 'free people' free?
the behavior exhibited is key.
i am not suggesting we live in a make-believe world...there has to be action behind every thought.

Denmark Vesey isn't trying to free people.
According to him, he's taunting them. He's told Hot Wax that on multiple occasions in these threads as Hot Wax attempts to educate us.
The food thing is cool. But, I'd like to hear about how pesticides and other chemicals can be eliminated from the food supply while allowing most folks to continue the meat consumption they have grown accustomed to.
From what I can gather, this is impossible. It seems that we eat far too much meat, and in order to satisfy our meat cravings and our preferred price point, food suppliers have resorted to nefarious activities. The question seems to be, what's next?
People like meat. We cannot produce enough "safe" meat at the prices people want to pay for it.
So, should people get used to eating less eat? Should they dedicate more of their income to purchasing foods that are safe? If they can't afford that, what are their options?
These are the difficult questions folks have to answer on a regular basis, yet they don't seem to be the questions discussed here. I would imagine that 99 percent of the people who visit this blog are now well aware of the dangers in the food supply system and the possible effects on their bodies. So, what's a workable solution, or what's the only solution?
But, this ain't my blog, and it's focus is the choice of the person or people who created it.
Big Man,
I'm not being condescending or anything towards you but hear me out Magne: I know DV your boy n all, but you shouldn't always defer to the host. It's DV's blog, but that don't mean you should be cool with everything or step-off if you disagree. The point is to express your opinion and stand by it regardless of what our host thinks or feels.
Sometimes you make some good points and I'm like 'yea Big Man, truth', then instead of ending it off with something profound you say, 'but this ain't my blog'.
Don't censor yourself man, respect is one thing but that doesn't mean self-censorship or sitting on the fence. In some ways you remind me of Benjamin in Animal Farm; saw the truth, dropped gems of knowledge, but was apathetic. I don't mean this in a bad way, it's all love and this is just what I see.
Sista Nurse,
I agree that there can be no freedom without responsibility - no doubt. I'd also say plantation people are conformist, rather than people 'who do not think'. Perhaps it is also that being free is a complex thing and can never be entirely not free - but there are degrees to which one is free.
I see a dynamic between conformity and freedom. To what extent one is free, will determine how much they will conform and vice versa. If I am free to pursue prosperity then how much am I conformist by paying taxes? Is paying taxes a responsibity (therefore part of one's freedom)?
If (Jah forbid!) I am larding it up every night on takeout am I a gluttonous free person or am I conformist to the supersize culture of US. And what does my responsibility to body have to do with my freedom? <-- This more than taunting brothas with titties is what I think DV is trying to get people to think abt.
Last thing:
People aren't going to eat less; peep the DMG vs DV thread and checkout some of the links Nulan post of what the future of Plantation food looks like.
Poor people don't have to eat poorly; if y'got money to spend on microwave burgers you got money to buy some bannanas or a head of cabbage for a stirfry. People are not educated on what to eat and have been conditioned to think of vegetables as the food of poverty.
In India lentils are thought of as poor man's food, in my country people regard cabbage in this way yet one is a rich source of protein and the other calcium.
I get grief and pity pleas to 'just eat meat' back at home and over here bec I'm vegan; people think I starve because I don't have meat or dairy on my plate - granted my food choices are sometimes limited but I'm resourceful and can always find something to eat.
As for the poisons in food well, if GMO food is to be grown hydroponically then would the plants need to be gassed or would it even matter coz its Franken-food anyway.
...peace
@Big man!! (posted in wrong section before)
"I would imagine that 99 percent of the people who visit this blog are now well aware of the dangers in the food supply system and the possible effects on their bodies. So, what's a workable solution, or what's the only solution?"
As we speak and sometime we ourselves get caught up in the Hegelian Dialectic, arguing about thesis- anti-thesis paradigms and don't understand the nature of the "con"(synthesis) remember this: that is a part of the strategy. This is chess. If you are at the point of trying to figure out if this is real and what to do; You are already pucked. They are already 5 moves ahead.
Case in point- while we praise our number one House-nig and the beautiful size of his wife's arms, check what they been up to make sure you have male titties:
HR 875 - The Federal Take-Over of Food Regulation-On February 4, 2009 Representative Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) introduced the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009 (HR 875), a bill that would establish the Food Safety Administration (FSA) within the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). HR 875 represents a tremendous expansion of federal power, particularly the power to regulate intrastate commerce. While the proposed legislation tries to address the many problems of the industrial food system, the impact on small farms if the bill becomes law would be substantial and not for the better. HR 875 is a major threat to sustainable farming and the local food movement. [Click here for the text: PDF or MS Word or HTML]
HR 2749 is a strange bill in many ways. While the other “food safety” bills have been around since winter, allowing for much public discussion on the internet, HR 2749 has only suddenly appeared. It is a mutant conglomeration of the worst of the other bills, with the addition of one very original part – martial law. When it was a draft, it was Waxman’s bill. But once given a number, it became Dingel’s who already had a “food safety” bill, HR 759. So Waxman got none and Dingel got two. (Was this because Waxman, being Jewish, was a hideous choice to introduce a bill with Codex in it – designed by the Nazi pharmaceutical companies that funded Hitler, provided the gas for the gas chambers, experimented on prisoners with vaccines – and is expected to kill millions?)
This new Bill HR 2749 is a deceptive control tactic that will strip us of our food freedoms. It has the same overtones of the Patriot Act, instilling every possible preventative measure in the name of our "safety." The bill states that the FDA would be given the power to quarantine any geographical area at any time by "prohibiting or restricting the movement of food or of any vehicle being used or that has been used to transport or hold such food within the geographic area." The vague wording of this bill essentially leaves the opportunity to shut down ALL transportation in a specific area. For example, a car on its way home from the grocery store is being used to "transport or hold" food.

Everyone on says poo-poo Wax. you are FOS. DMG, I go back to one statement. Self evident. That simple-Codex 51 Canada? Self Evident.
But as I digress, HR 875 The food police, criminalizing organic farming and the backyard gardener, and violation of the 10th amendment

Senate Bill 787 is known as the Clean Water Restoration Act. OpenCongress.org says it seeks to amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to clarify the jurisdiction of the United States over the waters of the United States - which is a change from jurisdiction over only the "navigable waters" of the United States. Hey all water is under control of the Fed Gov. determining what goes into it!
Last year, Michael Taylor became the senior advisor to the commissioner of the FDA. He is now Obama's food safety czar. What have we done? The Milk Man Cometh-(While Taylor was at the FDA in the early 90's, he also oversaw the policy regarding Monsanto'sgenetically engineered bovine growth hormone (rbGH/rbST) -- injected into cows to increase milk supply.)Monsato lobbyist. WTF??
Don't forget?
Engrossed HR 1105 will eliminate small farms and ranches across the country in a massive property grab. The only access you will have for fresh, nutritious and healthy local foods will be NAIS compliant farms and ranches who have agreed to register their private property, electronically identify their animals with the scientifically linked cancer RFID chip (tag) and agree to 24/7 surveillance and monitoring. Languages from state to federal basically say you can’t buy or sell without being NAIS compliant which includes a mark. Or you can choose the tainted foods currently being imported while we export our quality foods to other countries.
I think in Canada Codex 51 has passed.

You see Big Mike, while we sit here in this and quibble about this and tiny matters, these bastards have a mission to get this done AND WE ARE ALMOST OUT OF OPTIONS. As Doc screams "liar ", dummy, alarmist and I yell back, the plan is still moving full speed ahead.
Depressing, yes for us , however easy for them to do because the people care more about Colt's ,saints, Jay-z , and Lady gaga. It is so easy to stop, if we could get their playbook. It is hidden in plain sight....
Do you want it?
The Answer: Understand who you are and that you were born into the plantation slavery and it is so easy to get out. Freedom, y'all want freedom? Ok here it is.
CDM baby.
Read the primer:

Part 1: Read this PDF front to back. If you get it you will ask me for part 2. By the way , the good nurse is right ( with a little add on. ) Freedom is all internal, and devoid of the past(guilt) and never forwardlooking future(fear). Stay present.
Namaste.

FDA – FTC Attack Dr. Weil-Alternative Medicine for Swine Flu
FDA DECLARES WAR ON ALTERNATIVE HEALTH AND MEDICINE THAT WORKS
http://www.politicolnews.com/fda-ftc-attacking-dr-weil/
Andrew Weil unfortunately talks alot of shit, and this isn't an attack. None of the stuff he's hustling has been evaluated. If he wants to push his concoction he should do a study to see if it ACTUALLY WORKS.
Wax, just so you know...you are even more wordy than me. Give me a heads up if you are addressing me in the middle of one of your lectures, because I'm not going to read the whole thing.
wax isn't wordy. Wax is school.
But is the real bad guy DMG (metaphorically speaking) or is it Big Oil?
Oil products can be found in everything from fertilizers to medications.
I would seem that Big Oil is at the bottom of all the food contamination.
I see almost ALL of you have an aversion to backing up your statements. So why do I even waste my time. If you think he's school, enjoy his "lessons".
UBJ,
That's almost as much of a leap as:
God is the Alpha and Omega
The beginning and the end.
Hot dogs are made from lips and assholes
the pigs beginning and end..therefore God is a hotdog.
Sorry..
Huh?
How did it leap THAT far?
Farms are more beholden to Big Oil than any other group.
Even if we switch to Ethonol - Big Oil still benefits.
Petro-Chems are used for; fertilizers, fuels, storage, and equipment on farms.
Petro-Chems are used for storage and packaging in finished food products (BPA?).
Many of us are becoming more and more sick as we use more plactics in our daily lives.
Could the excessive use of plastics be a cause of the recent rise in Obesity, Neurological conditions and Cancers?
ugly, You are on it! Same bastards on the big pharma are interlaced with big oil. IG farben /rockerfella -look up history of both. Big oil created big pharma.
Consider that:
Ubiquitous — plastics are everywhere. . . our bodies, the air, water, oceans and so on
Toxic — plastics are toxic. Both additives and base plastics
World — almost everything we touch is made of or coated with plastics
People — we are all exposed during every every minute of every day
Unknown — almost nothing is known about individual chemicals that make up plastics
Synergies — even less than nothing is known about the effects of combinations of plastics and other things including ionizing radiation
Wishful thinking — the process by which plastics are considered safe by the FDA, the industry, nonprofits and users

Yes, we are all conspiring against YOU Hot Wax. We know where you live, I was planted on this website to get into your head and turn you into a Zombie only to serve "Big" Pharma and the Oil industry. Yes I am counter intel.
I know where you live, I know you enjoy wearing oversized adult footsy pajamas and sleep sucking your thumb at night. Actually, through advanced computer hacking I'm watching you through your computer screen right now.
...you have spinach in your teeth.
Good to see you got a sense of humor Doc.
That was funny!
Told you , i live in the Truth.
I call it like I see em.... That was pretty good. :)
However do you research on the flexner report and see how you (medical establishment) were created and who funded you(Docs)
Save it Wax. I'm not biting. This is gone from entertainment to tedium.
