Yeah ... maybe it is an unrealistic expectation.
Except for the fact that KFC got more Negros than a Tarzan movie and Taco Bell feeds more Mexicans than Mexico.
Being soul food or even good has nothing to do with Plantation Negros licking their lips.
It's a Pavlovian reaction by people conditioned to have a certain response to certain foods.
Plantation Negros have been taught that eating 'fried chicken' is indistinguishable from blackness.
