23 Million Chickens ... And They Each Have The Same Parents - Eat Cloned Meat At Your Peril

In the U.S., there are approximately 270 chickens killed per second. That’s more than 16,000 per minute. That’s 972,000 and some per hour. And is somewhere around 23 million chickens per day. In all, an estimated 8.5 billion chickens per year are slaughtered for consumption in the United States alone.
