Interesting. Where did you get that one from? You got a link?

I'll find out for you Mike. One of my sons sent it to me.

He's doing a report on WWII. I told him to make sure there were black soldiers in every image he used.

Dare his teacher to say something.

lol

His report is looking like a Spike Lee movie.

But I do remember he said this image was used to make a racist propaganda poster by the Germans. The black soldiers are captured Americans.

Translate for us Mike. What does the poster say?

Well, the sentence in bold says "North America's purveyors of culture on the Western Front"

It then continues "Among the prisoners of the first days of the offensive there also were numerous Niggers" (in German the word "Neger" means both Negro and Nigger simultaneously. In other words they don't make a distinction.)

I would guess they are referring to the Ardennes Offensive of the Wehrmacht in December 1944.

The historical context of the text is that Nazi Germany maintained that the United States is controlled by Jews who encouraged a multi-"racial" biological and cultural mix in order to "pollute" the United States and pit that country against the "Aryan race".

Interesting.

How would you grade the Germans on their attempt at prophesy?

"what is the distinction?" Anonymous

Anonymous when you ask a question like that - pick a name.

That question is a psychological loose thread on a cheap sweater.

Pull it and see what happens.
