Second, what draconian Federal powers are automatically authorized, at gunpoint if necessary:
- The power to force mandatory swine flu vaccinations on the entire population.
- The power to arrest, quarantine or "involuntarily transport" anyone who refuses a swine flu vaccination.
- The power to quarantine an entire city and halt all travel in or out of that city.
- The power to enter any home or office without a search warrant and order the destruction of any belongings or structures deemed to be a threat to public health.
- The effective nullification of the Bill of Rights. Your right to due process, to being safe from government search and seizure, and to remain silent to avoid self-incrimination are all null and void under a Presidential declaration of a national emergency.
A three-month-long investigation by CBS News, released earlier this week that included state-by-state test results, revealed some very different facts. The CBS study found that H1N1 flu cases are NOT as prevalent as feared. A CBS article even states:
"If you've been diagnosed "probable" or "presumed" 2009 H1N1 or "swine flu" in recent months, you may be surprised to know this: odds are you didn't have H1N1 flu. In fact, you probably didn't have flu at all."
CBS reports that in late July 2009 the CDC advised states to STOP testing for H1N1 flu, and they also stopped counting individual cases. Their rationale for this, according to CBS News, was that it was a waste of resources to test for H1N1 flu because it was already confirmed as an epidemic.So just like that virtually every person who visited their physician with flu-like symptoms since late July was assumed to have H1N1, with no testing necessary because, after all, there's an epidemic.

CBS NEWS reports that 98% of "reported" H1N1 cases later test not to be H1N1 at all ... and that 84% of reported flu cases turn out not to be influenza at all.
Now. Please. Other than the standard "attack the messenger" routine - and let you and me set our routine ad hominem to the side for a moment (you can get right back at me after you answer these questions) - (1)does that information AT ALL IMPACT your attitudes and position about the real threat of this "pandemic"?
(2) Do you not agree that this "H1N1" scare has taken on a political life of its own that has transcended pure science or medicine?
(3) Does not the fact, which is public record, that the CDC IS NO LONGER ACTUALLY COUNTING individual H1N1 cases make it clear to you that it is IMPOSSIBLE to consider this "pandemic" anything other than political hyperbole?

Australia/New Zealand is in the Southern hemisphere, therefore their flu season is opposite ours. They had 15 TIMES the number of ICU admissions this year as compared to previous years....the only difference is that instead of being a bunch of 80 year olds dying from seasonal flu, it was a bunch of people 20-50. >16% mortality rate.

Even if that 15 times increase were all H1N1 admissions between ages 20-50, all that's for sure is that the 20-50 year old population is unhealthy as ever. But this is actually predictable...
