A gang that raped a Hofstra University student in a dorm bathroom planned the attack in advance - stealing her cell phone to lure her from the dance floor, police said.
The horror began at campus nightclub Hofstra USA early Sunday after the 18-year-old victim danced with one of the suspects.He snatched her phone and ran out, and she pursued him into a nearby dormitory elevator, asking for it back.
"Clearly, I think the cell phone was taken to lure her away from the crowd to do her harm," said Detective John Allen, commander of the Nassau County special victims squad.
When the elevator opened upstairs, a second suspect was waiting in the hallway with a rope, cops said. The two dragged her into a men's room, tied her up and raped her.A SISTA?
