A warning that the new swine flu jab is linked to a deadly nerve disease has been sent by the Government to senior neurologists in a confidential letter.The letter from the Health Protection Agency, the official body that oversees public health, has been leaked to The Mail on Sunday, leading to demands to know why the information has not been given to the public before the vaccination of millions of people, including children, begins.
It tells the neurologists that they must be alert for an increase in a brain disorder called Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), which could be triggered by the vaccine.
GBS attacks the lining of the nerves, causing paralysis and inability to breathe, and can be fatal.
The letter, sent to about 600 neurologists on July 29, is the first sign that there is concern at the highest levels that the vaccine itself could cause serious complications.
It refers to the use of a similar swine flu vaccine in the United States in 1976 when:
* More people died from the vaccination than from swine flu.
* 500 cases of GBS were detected.
* The vaccine may have increased the risk of contracting GBS by eight times.
* The vaccine was withdrawn after just ten weeks when the link with GBS became clear.
* The US Government was forced to pay out millions of dollars to those affected.

The other thread on UK doctors evolved into something else before I cld post on it. Now while it might be that alot of doctors have expressed their anxieties about the vaccine, the vaccine is now in the country and waiting to be released soon. With all the government has spent on this vaccine & generating the hype, I don't see all of those GPs outrightly refusing to prescribe it to their patients. Some will, but others will succumb to public pressure and hype abt swine flu thanks to the govt and the media...Just a month ago was a huge public outcry against the Mayor's refusal to keep schools shut this Sept - I'm not a fan of BoJo, but that's one thing he did right.
...Its interesting to note that while the UK is a drug-happy nation, their cuzins on The Continent are not the same. In France homeopathy is the preferred way of dealing with flu viruses. In Finland the Tamiflu jab (oseltamivir) which is being used for H1N1 is only given to those in the high risk category (the young, the old and those expecting) and anyone else outside of that category is given the jab only if its a very severe case...But in the UK they scaled back on giving Tamiflu to children because of the side effects and the risk of getting complications like asthma and ear infections.
...There's so much to be said and has be said by peops here, but in the face of all this evidence its surprising and disappointing a (post-Black)physician would continously dismiss this as being emotional and unscientific ol' wives tales (LOL! - them tales wld sooner save my life than a vaccine). Maybe DMG honestly believes in everything the Plantation says, but if that's so he should defend his views & answer the qsns asked coz purrty soon I'll conclude he's the 'emotional one' jst woofin' through the threads.
