I’ve had my share and probably somebody’s else’s share of smokin’ bodies and snappin’ cooters, and there ain’t that much crazy body in the world.
My heart goes out to Mrs. McNair and the children. This was a dumb-azz OJ-type move by Steve McNair.
OJ was 29 when he started dating 17-year-old Nicole.
The young lady was Iranian. If it was a murder-suicide, I'm thinking that the average 20-year-old sister in that situation would not kill her golden goose. She would have taken homeboy to the bank by threatening to go public. She becomes a 20-year-old millionaire and she has her whole life ahead of her.
The one thing that might have saved McNair was if the police had charged him or leaked to the media that McNair was in the car with a 20-year-old who was stopped for DWI two days before the killings, he may have been embarrassed into chilling out for a while. In this case being a popular celebrity in Nashville worked against Steve McNair.
[Just days earlier, Nashville police had stopped the Escalade on Broadway and charged Kazemi, who was not old enough to drink legally, with driving under the influence. Aaron said she has no other criminal record in Davidson County.
McNair was in the passenger's seat and was not charged, in spite of the fact that as the co-owner of the car he was legally liable. He had been arrested for driving under the influence and illegal gun possession in 2003. The charges were dropped.]
